24.01.2022 Childhood Cancer Project ‘Feed the Lion’ As his first initiative on becoming president, Lion Farrel Stephen of the Lysterfield Lions Club introduced the concept of ‘Feed the Lions’ to all the members. An empty till was handed in with the intention of each lion member and their families fill the till throughout the year. All proceeds were going towards childhood cancer research and for Lions’ paediatric cancer. At the March 2021 meeting, where the lion family came together in person for the first time for a meeting after the COVID 19 lockdown, the tills were opened with the assistance from District Chairperson of Lions Childhood Cancer, Marietta D'Souza. The pictures show President Farrel and DC Marietta counting the money. Over AUD1,100 was collected for this worthy cause.
