16.01.2022 BORDERTOWN LIONS CLUB HANDOVER DINNER Bordertown Lions Club celebrated another successful year at the Handover Dinner on Friday, August at the Bordertown Hotel. The Handover Dinner was attended by Second Vice District Governor Tom Kimber and his wife, Jill; Tatiara Mayor Graham Excell and his wife, Cheryl; Members of the Bordertown, Tintinara and Meningie Lions Clubs; guests, friends and family and two new members.... Mayor Graham Excell gave the Toast to Lions International and outgoing President, Rosemary Rodda, thanked club members for their support over the past 12 months year. The induction of the new President and Board was conducted by Second Vice District Governor Tom Kimber, who also inducted two new members Sue Merrett and Graham Elsworthy. The incoming board of directors for 2017-18 is: President, Rosemary Rodda; immediate past president, David Ciampa; Secretary, Marian Elsworth; and Treasurer, Mary Ciampa. Thank you to all that attended. All the very best of luck to our new team during your tenure to be success.
16.01.2022 Maurice Pilgrim has been a familiar sight around Bordertown for many years as he walked and rode around town collecting empty cans and bottles. Maurice is friendly to everyone and always up for a yarn. Maurice has displayed outstanding committment to the community as he to help clean up Bordertown. MATCH DAY INFORMATION * Gates open at 11am * Gates located at Show Ticket Office on South Terrace and main entrance on Narracoorte Road. * Glenelg v Adelaide SANFL game starts at 1.10pm. * Car Parking Street parking only, no cars allowed on ground. Bordertown Lions Club will be manning the gates as usual.

09.01.2022 Our annual Bordertown Pharmacy charity bowls day will be held on the 15th October at Mundulla Names in by 1 for 1.30 start to either the Bowling club on 87534076 or Marian on 0488498478 or just join us on the day. The cost is $20 per adult and $10 for Juniors BBQ tea after game and non players cost for tea is $10 and children is a gold coin donation. Money raised from this day is to towards a speaker on Demiture
