As much as we would like to operate the markets, we cannot, in good conscience, agree to hold them while the current situation with the spread of a second wave of Covid 19 is happening.
11.01.2022 Mudgee Lions Club will not be holding the Lawson Park Markets until further notice. In the meantime, please keep well and stay safe.Mudgee Lions Club will not be holding the Lawson Park Markets until further notice. In the meantime, please keep well and stay safe.

05.01.2022 We’re back in business. Thanks to Glencore, we were able to distribute several loads of wood to households on Sunday. The drizzling rain didn’t put us off and Lions Club members, with much appreciated assistance from Glencore employees delivered. A special mention to the Walker family for the assistance they provided in cutting the wood in acceptable proportions for us.
05.01.2022 Vale Malcolm Roth It is with a great deal of sadness we say farewell to a long standing member of our Lions Club. Malcolm joined the Mudgee Lions Club in June 1988. He entered wholeheartedly into Lions activities culminating in his role as President in 1996. His most enduring role was as Works Director, where he partnered with good mate Ted Mahon, organising many fundraising activities for the Club. In 2005 he was made a Melvin Jones Fellow in recognition of the good work he did for Lions and the community. He enjoyed life and his laughter and good fellowship will be missed by us all.
