19.01.2022 LIONS LAWN MOWING: Your Lions Club of North Lakes has been out and about this weekend mowing lawns for those in need in our community. Here’s Lion Chris on the whipper-snipper, and Lion Greg on the mower tidying up Maya’s lawns. Please contact Greg on 0422422710 if you know of anyone in need of support for mowing their lawns. We’re here to serve!

18.01.2022 LAWN MOWING PROJECT: Your North Lakes Lions Club is still out serving our community on Christmas Eve. After all the rain and warmth recently, Maya’s lawns needed a good mowing - which they got today just in time for Christmas. Maya recently had a knee operation so having her lawns mowed brought a big smile to her face. If you know anyone who needs assistance with their lawn mowing please contact us. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas & safe holiday. Photo: 1. President ...Greg and his trusty Mower Photo: 2. The finished lawn. Well done Greg.

16.01.2022 LAP THE MAP FOR DIABETES. North Lakes Lions, Family, Friends and Pets participated in the ‘Lap the Map’ walk on Sunday morning to raise awareness for Diabetes & healthy living. Thanks to everyone who took part in this initiative and walked the 5-6km from Mango Hill Station, around Lake Halpine, through to Murrumba Downs Station, and back to Mango Hill. An enjoyable event for all involved including a well earned coffee and ‘chill out’ at the finish!! President Greg

02.01.2022 WISH TANK PROJECT: The Lions Club of North Lakes were busy on Saturday morning trimming back trees and bushes and clearing rubbish as part of the Wish Tank Project. This wish was nominated by the homeowners carer because trees & bushes were growing over the driveway and restricting access of emergency services if they were required for the residents. So the North Lakes Lions got into action to get the job done much to the happiness and appreciation of the homeowners. Thanks to Lions Alan, Rolf, Chris, John, Sean and Greg for all their hard work improving the quality of life for these residents of our community. North Lakes Lions We Serve! Photos - Greg Milne
