25.01.2022 Lions Club of Hallett Cove & Districts recently had a presentation from https://stroke.org.au. The two speakers gave some real insights into the impacts of stroke from their own journey with stroke. We can highly recommend supporting this cause. 23.01.2022 Santa will be out tonight on the streets of Hallett Cove. Starting Lighthouse, then Coorabie, Rogana, Forrester, Vennachar, Jupiter, Arachne, then back to Vennachar. We will be out between 6:00 and 8:00. Listen for our "Jingle Bells" horn

23.01.2022 Santa will be back in Sheidow Park starting at 6:00 pm we cover the following streets: Berrima corner with Worthing / to Southbank / Harbour / Holdfast / Steamranger / William Webb. Remember to observe social distancing.

23.01.2022 From Monday 14th to Thursday 24th December, the Lions will be selling our traditional Lions Christmas Cakes and Puddings at the Hallett Cove Shopping Centre. We will be located on the "grassed' area adjacent to Woolworths and opposite the top of the escalator. We will also be providing a gift wrapping service for a gold coin fee per item. 19.01.2022 Santa is back on the streets of Hallett Cove tonight. Starting at 6:00 pm on Livonia St (near the South School) then Shamrock / Ranger / Intrepid / Madeline / Elena / Mayflower / Columbia.

18.01.2022 Unfortunately, due to the risks and uncertainty with the current COVID-19 situation, the Lions Club of Hallett Cove & Districts will not be holding our usual Australia Day breakfast on the foreshore this year. The City of Marion will be holding a free community event at Hendrie Street Reserve at Park Holme from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.



15.01.2022 Due to the introduction of new COVID 19 restrictions, the Lions Santa Sleigh will not operate until further notice. The Lions shed Op-Shop will also not be open until further notice.

14.01.2022 Lions Club of Hallett Cove & Districts Op-shop "Books n Things" is open on Thursday and Saturday mornings 9:00 - 12:30. We have an extensive range of books, clothing, furniture, small electrical items (tested) and bric-a-brac. In addition on Saturday mornings our Barn is open for tea and coffee so come in for chat and learn more about Lions and what we do for the community.

13.01.2022 With the warmer weather on the way, we are getting ready to put out our summer collection. Our winter stocks have to go at bargain prices. Most at $1.50 unless otherwise marked. Come and grab a bargain. Our Barn will also be open for a coffee.

13.01.2022 For the last day of November Santa will be on his sleigh covering the streets on the Headland. Starting on Seaview Ave then / Cormorant / Freebairn / Chivers / Ingleton / Petrel to Gull.

13.01.2022 Santa will be out on the streets of Hallett Cove again tonight, starting at Nannigai then Kanowna, Neeangarra, Karumbi, Yarromie, Lerunna , Lepina. We start at 6:00 and finish at 8:00

05.01.2022 Good news! We are glad to advise that our Lions Books n Things Op-shop will be opening from Saturday 4th July. It's been a long wait. Please note that appropriate social distancing will be in place and numbers inside the shed may be limited at times. Please use the hand sanitiser if required and follow the arrows marked on the floor. EFTPOS is the preferred method of payment.... Donations should be brought to the roller door at the rear. At this stage we will be opening on Saturdays only 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Any queries contact: [email protected]

04.01.2022 With Santa back in town, the Lions Club of Hallett Cove & Districts will be bringing Santa around the streets of Hallett Cove, Sheidow Park and Trott Park again. Unfortunately things will need to be a bit different this year with social distancing so no getting aboard the sleigh with Santa. First run will be tomorrow night - 16 Nov starting on Edward Beck near the Woodend Primary School. We will also have our traditional Lions Christmas Cakes & Puddings available - $17 Larg...e, $13 Small plus puddings. EFTPOS will be available. The sleigh program is subject to weather. If over 35 degrees at 5:00 pm then Santa will retreat to his snow cave.
