20.01.2022 HAMPER SCAMPER 2020 Once again we need our wonderful community’s help! It’s only 14 weeks until Christmas so it’s time to launch our annual Lions Hamper Scamper Project! ... Due to COVID, we expect there will be greater need in our community with more families requiring support at Christmas. Last year we delivered over 100 food hampers to families and we hope to double that effort in 2020. We kindly ask our generous community to support us by donating any non-perishable food items. We can organise contact-less pick up or drop off. Alternatively, we are accepting donations via direct deposit. Lions Club of Point Cook Inc. BSB: 633 000 Account: 138 724 257

02.01.2022 Mechanised pets and therapy dolls have been shown to provide comfort and ease anxiety for people with dementia or Alzheimer’s. The Lions Club of Point Cook recently donated six pets and two dolls to the residents of Homestyle Aged Care in Point Cook. Staff have told us that the residents ‘absolutely love them’.
