24.01.2022 A reminder to everyone that our AGM is fast approaching. Our club is set to move forward in a huge way over the coming years and we would love for more people to be involved. We rely solely on volunteers and with out people putting their hands up to help, the club will struggle to keep going. We hope that everyone will consider helping out in some way next year. We are currently look for people who would be interested in stepping in to the roles of Secretary Registrar Coac...hing Director We are a committee who works together to help each person in their role, and share the work load. We also have a committee meeting coming up on the 13th of October, please feel free to join us and see our clubs direction for the 2021 season and if you might be able to help us achieve those goals

20.01.2022 Good to see Laidley Lions members and sponsors Glen and Jodie Gimm recieve their new truck and trailer after recent fire in their previous truck. Hard to miss at night time, 240 lights and counting.

20.01.2022 A date has been set for our club AGM. It will be held on Saturday the 24th of October at 10am. Exact location will be given closer to the date however it will either be inside the clubhouse or on the grandstand due to Covid restrictions. 17.01.2022 Good evening Laidley Lions Community. Some of you may have seen the below release from Rugby League Ipswich regarding the 2020 season. With the easing of some of the restrictions placed on our game, RLI put the call out to clubs to gauge interest for all clubs to return to play for a 10 week season commencing August and finishing mid October. The committee spoke extensively about all the aspects and requirements we would need to meet to be able to not only hold home games b...ut also travel and compete at away games. The decision was not made lightly and we understand that there will be some that are disappointed but Laidley will not be participating in the 2020 season. There are only 5 clubs who have decided to play on this year and we wish them all the best with the challenges they face. We hope that their members will get behind them and volunteer to lighten the work load. Keep your eyes on our page over the next few days regarding an end of season get together. See more

14.01.2022 Hello Lions Community. We the Committee would like to invite you, our Players, Coaches, Parents, Families and Sponsors to head down to the Club grounds on Sunday the 19th of July from 11am for a small end of season get together. With our season now officially ended we would love to see you all, catch up for a chat and maybe even have a throw of the Footy and some kicks for goals. We were so ready to hit the ground running this season with all our gear purchased and the cant...een fully stocked. Unfortunately the canteen stock is not going to last until next year so we would thought a get together would be a great way to clear the fridges and freezers. We will be accepting gold coin donations for burgers, chips and any other hot food as well as selling off other stock at low prices. Also for anyone wishing to have their 2020 season registration fees refunded please email us at [email protected] and we will send you out a form for you to fill out. You can then return it to us on the 19th of July. Please allow up to 2 weeks from that date for refunds to be processed. Refunds will be the the total fees paid minus FairPlay vouchers where applicable and $25 to cover insurances and Club Training Shirt.
