18.01.2022 Club President Pete presented 3 cheques at last the 2019 Change Over Dinner. Lions Medical Research Foundation $4,000 received by Lion Narelle Parkings. This was part of the money we raised at our annual golf day. Lisa from Coombabah School received a further $2,000 to help with the breakfast program and disadvantaged youth support before school. Christmas Presents for Kids also received $1,000 to help those 150 plus local foster kids without permanent homes have a better Chr...istmas this year. Next meeting Aug 15th we have more cheques to present. Thanks to all those who helped to make these donations possible :) See more

08.01.2022 Thank's to Laura from Degani and Degani Cafe's new owner Puneet who is opening at Hope Island Market Place on 17th July. They took for donation over the 3 promotional morning where they gave coffee away and people could donate to the Lions Club.

07.01.2022 Packed house at last nights Lions Club Change Over Dinner. With the induction of Lee our newest member. Lee was inducted by Narelle Parkins the District Vice President and secretary for the Lions Medical Research Foundation. Narelle will be back for our next meeting for another new member induction which will be also held at Iescos Restaurant in Sanctuary Cove

03.01.2022 As Deb our Secretary said... We will need to be there at Stupid O'clock... and 5.30am on a Sunday is just that... Great cause and before they started had raised well over $22K. Our bit was easy compared to the 28km that the volunteers were going to walk. Thanks to members and friends of members for your help for the hour and half... and breaky afterwards was great as well.
