01.01.2022 Dear Family Member/ Relative We just thought we’d touch base with you in response to the current Lock Down directed to all aged care facilities on the Gold Coast. As yet, we have not received any further notifications to date, so please be advised that Lions Haven remains closed to ALL visitors. Medical and essential services are still providing their services to residents and residents are still able to attend medical appointments.... We do ask that during this time, only essential items be dropped off to your loved one between the hours of 8am and 3pm, Monday to Friday ONLY. Please call ahead on 5530 8966 to arrange and we will collect items from the outdoor area of reception upon your arrival or place parcels on one of the outdoor seats and we will ensure it is collected and distributed to your relative. All items are to be clearly labelled with your loved one’s name and room number. Please be reminded that if you do wish to face-time your loved one, this can be organised with Activity Officers Suzy and Natalie and again, ONLY between the hours of 8am and 3pm, Monday to Friday. In closing, the next notification regarding any further changes will be provided to family members/relatives when the current Aged Care Direction (No.9) is updated.
