14.01.2022 What a weekend!!!!! Against the odds we not only delivered a workshop, we felt the love and connected in a way only Youth Insearch Foundation knows how to. Thro...ugh gloves and masks and Glen-20 and hand sanitiser, we felt the love and it even came out our eyes. Thank you to all the Team, special mention Trainees on their first face to face anything! The young people were amazing, thank your sharing you weekend with us. Also special mention to the whole Team (did I say that already?) They were awesome! They may put up barriers and hurdles for us to jump, but nothing can stop Youth Insearch Foundation. Love in Action will always triumph over adversity! 07.01.2022 The Lions Club of Kallangur was formed in March 1969 and received its Charter from Lions Clubs International on the 26th April 1969. The Club chartered with twenty four members many of whom were stalwarts of our society and prominent in local community organisations. On Saturday the 30th March, the Lions Club of Kallangur members and invited guests will celebrate fifty years of service to the local community.... There have been 279 members of the Club over the past fifty years and many past members will attend the function at the Kallangur Memorial Bowls Club. The Lions Club of Kallangur currently has twenty eight active members but has had over forty members at various stages during the last fifty years. Today, one of the major projects of the Lions Club of Kallangur is the annual Childrens Cancer Institute of Australia Bike Ride which regularly raises over $50,000 for childrens cancer research. Lion Mal Murray is the only Charter Member remaining in our Club and it is appropriate that he is also the President in this celebrated year.
