13.01.2022 Thank you and well done to all who participated and helped make the inaugural Lions Lap the Map for Diabetes such a big success! Over 3000 Australians participated in Lions Lap the Map events in November. 134 Lions Clubs, 2 Leo Clubs and 3 Lioness Clubs were involved in organising events.... A combined distance of over 14,700 kms was walked and over $10,000 was raised at events and will be donated to Lions Diabetes Awareness programs and Foundations. From Cairns to Tasmania, Sydney to Perth we really did Lap the Map for Diabetes. Here’s just a snapshot of some of the wonderful events held across the country.

06.01.2022 Happy Friday all! Who's going to fit some exercise in this weekend? Exercise doesn't need to be strenuous to have a positive impact - moderate physical activity a few times a week helps manage weight, reduces glucose levels and can also improve our blood pressure and cholesterol - which are all essential parts of Diabetes prevention. At our Lap the Map events in November, you can walk, run or jog - the choice is yours!
