12.01.2022 The Lions Club of Grovedale/Waurn Ponds was glad to be able to provide a donation recently to the Waurn Ponds Memorial Reserve. Several of our members were also happy to be able to attend the recent 100th Anniversary Commemoration service of the Reserve.

08.01.2022 The Lions Club of Grovedale/Waurn Ponds annual Community Raffle was drawn on Tuesday 3 September 2019 at the Mount Hotel, Mount Moriac. Thank you to all participating organisations who reap the benefits of the raffle through ticket sales, receiving the total funds back for every ticket sold. The Lions Club also wishes to pass on a big thanks to those businesses in and around Grovedale/Waurn Ponds who contributed prizes to a total pool of $4881. And a BIG Congratulations to all the winners! The photo shows representatives of two of our local schools assisting with the prize draw.

Members of the Lions Club of Grovedale/Waurn Ponds are selling Lions Christmas Cakes and Puddings outside Bunnings and Woolworths Waurn Ponds Friday, Saturday and Sunday (9 to 5) right up to Christmas Eve. Large Cake 1.5 kg (best value) @ $17 each Small Cake 1 kg @ $13 each Puddings 900 gm @ $13 each... Come along and say g'day and buy some Christmas Cheer! Happy Christmas one and all.
