25.01.2022 Covid-19 Precautions Please be advised that here at Lions Optics we are taking every measure and precaution to ensure the safety of our staff and patients through the Coronavirus pandemic. This includes the following: All Staff must have their temperature checked every morning before commencing work. Any staff member registering over 37.5 is sent home for 14 days of isolation.... Staff must wear protective masks when performing exposure prone procedures. All staff and patients to practice hand hygiene with hand washing with foam soap & sanitizer. All equipment and furniture is wiped down after each patient interaction with hospital grade disinfectant wipes. This includes the consultation room before and after each patient. All frames to be returned to staff once they have been tried on to be sanitized before returning to the display racks. Staff are happy to organise express post deliveries for patients who do not wish to return to the shop for collection of their spectacles. We are limiting the amount of people on our premises at any given time in line with government and LEI guidelines. Social distancing, all patients 2 metres apart. There are a few steps that you can take to reduce eye muscle fatigue: 1. Look away from your computer at least every 20 minutes and gaze at a distant object for at least 20 seconds 2. Get the right amount of sleep 3. Should you require spectacles be sure to utilise the #CrizalPrevencia lens coating. This will block out the potentially harmful blue-violet light emitted from electronic devices that can cause eye strain and fatigue
