23.01.2022 Last year the Australian Chapter of Lions International raised $48,000 through the collection of stamps for the purchase of wheelchairs, walking frames etc. The stamps are sold at auction and the funds donated to Australian Lions Mobility Foundation. 22.01.2022 Despite the wet, windy weather we had a successful day at Bunnings. Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who braved the elements to hold our first sausage sizzle since the Covid restrictions were lifted.

17.01.2022 We are happy to announce that today, 18th of May, the normal Youth Band rehearsals are BACK. During the lockdown, our Lions Youth and Big Band Musical Director, Phil Hatton, has found new ways of teaching online to keep the Youth Band members developing their skills. Sending out music to students, recording instrument-specific backing tracks for them to learn, and giving them feedback on their job is part of Phils endeavour to continue with the program. 14.01.2022 We held our club Youth of the Year event this week, and were fortunate enough to have four excellent young men as participants. Congratulations to all of them for their excellent performances. The overall winner, and winner of the public speaking section was Micah Sinclair. Well done and congratulations to Micah. He will go on to participate at a state and hopefully national level and we wish him all the best.
