14.01.2022 Congratulations to all of the volunteers across junior footy who will be attending the Metro North Awards of Excellence tonight. Good luck in particular to Ryan Harrison from the Lions Junior Umpires who is in the running to take home the Northern Conference Umpire of the Year. To our other coaches and volunteers attending tonight: Alex Pannell, Chris Spencer, Nic Shaw, Isaac Bavcevic, Brayden Pollard and Rosemary Goodin, enjoy the night celebrating the achievements of the year gone and continue the work of maintaining our strong relationships with junior clubs that enables the sustainability and vibrancy of junior footy community in the north. 06.01.2022 OFFSEASON UPDATE We are very excited to announce some big promotions for a number of our umpires for season 2021. Congratulations to: Chris Spencer - promoted to the WAFL High Performance Team;... Ryan Harrison - promoted to the WAFL Talent Academy; and Tom Spencer - promoted to the Hendrie-Margetts Development Squad. Please join us in celebrating the achievements of our umpires as they continue on their umpiring pathways and continue to serve our umpiring club.

04.01.2022 Often the umpires are the forgotten third team out on the field on weekends. While the umpiring team won't experience the joy or hardship of the result on the weekend, appointment to a Grand Final at the elite level is a magnificent achievement. Congratulations to the selected umpires and good luck for the big game on Saturday!
