10.01.2022 This lovely lady didn’t want ‘big lips’ but ‘balanced lips’. Our first goal was to project her top lip forward so that it fell in line or 1mm over her bottom lip. This was achieved using 1ml of dermal filler and my ‘keyhole lip enhancement technique’. I find that 1ml of dermal filler is usually enough to improve lip balance and restore surrounding structures. If she had of requested ‘bigger lips’ I would recommend a second ml performed 4-6 weeks later. This treatment is expected to last 6-10 months and only takes 20 minutes to perform. 01.01.2022 Lip Glamour! This lovely lady requested a larger and more glamorous pout. 2ml of dermal filler was used over two treatments four weeks apart to create her new look. As part of her treatment, I have shortened the distance between the base of her nose and the start of her cupids bow, accentuated her philtral columns, and added central and lateral fullness. The image on the left was taken before any dermal filler was performed. The image on the right was taken immediately after ...the second treatment. Since micro cannula technique was used - what you see is (virtually) what you get! Only two entry points were required to perform the treatment compared to my old needle technique which would take 5-15 punctures - creating lots of unnecessary swelling and bruising. Yay!
