24.01.2022 Burdekin growers dont like planting late, but with LiquaForce PlantStarter21 we think the risk is greatly reduced. This block at Inkerman was planted on the 5th of August and is powering away just 18 days after planting! Note the vigorous root system on the billet and the microbial sheath on the roots which our unique nutrient components and bio stimulants are renowned for promoting. Three shoots from three eyes is also pretty impressive, if we say so ourselves If you are planting late then remove the risk and plant with LiquaForce.

20.01.2022 WEDNESDAY WALKABOUT #6 We've brought you video interviews and mini movies, and in this Wednesday Walkabout we bring you a traditional read! Maurice Shephard from LiquaForce Tully caught up with Allen O'Kane this week. Allen is one of our longest supporting growers in the Tully district and has just clocked up 9 years using LiquaForce products on his cane crop.... Maurice asked him for his thoughts on LiquaForce products compared to traditional granular fertiliser and what results he's seen with his crop. It's a big time saver and to put it simply, it's just too bloody easy! - Allen O'Kane, Tully district cane grower "Since I've been on the full LiquaForce program I've seen a greatly improved production," Allen said. "I'm achieving at least one to two extra ratoons per planting due to improvement in soil health and this has lead to massive savings on planting costs, too," he said. "Using liquid fertiliser means I have no concerns around planting or fertilising in wet weather, and there's also no need to worry about finding storage room in the shed for bags. "From a safety perspective too there are no issues with one-tonne bags because all the filling is done from the ground without having to climb ladders." Allen, who is also a contract billet planter, said LiquaForce liquid fertiliser also afforded him fully rate controlled application, which meant easy and accurate record keeping for both planting and fertilising. 17.01.2022 Tully Region Update! As we are all aware, it has been a wet, cold, and late start to the planting this season with the promise of more rain to come. The southern end of the district has kicked off in fits and starts with approximately 300ha planted with Liquaforce Plantstarter to date, achieving excellent results, as usual, in these trying conditions. The photo below shows a billet of Q208 at 12 days after planting with 8 days of the 12 being rain days. This was planted for ...one of our new growers, Dore sugar, by Maifredi Contracting. The ratoon fertilizing is starting at a trickle. With very small windows of dry weather a real possibility, it is definitely worth considering Liquaforce as an alternative. Our 5-row variable rate applicator has been fully serviced and the contractor is raring to go. Among many other benefits, up to 60ha can be sub-surface fertilized per day (Confidor and/or trace elements can be added). After successful initial trials in 2019 we are back for the first application of 2020 with another 60,000lt of our BigShot Enhanced Efficiency liquid fertiliser for this local farm.... 02.01.2022 We don't just fertilise Cane! Check out these Karranda Soy beans planted 1st Aug in the Burdekin delta area. It's been treated twice with LiquaForce Value Trace Complete at 12l /hectare foliar application (3 & 6 weeks). We are going to be a keeping a close eye on this one, the crop is very even and shows strong potential for an above average yield. We will keep you posted.
