25.01.2022 WOW !! Thank you so much everyone for your interest in my artwork I am very humbled and feel blessed that I can add a bit of colour and joy to your days. Painting gives me a sense of peace and joy that I am working with the God given gift of creating. To be able to share that joy is the pinnacle of fulfillment for me. 23.01.2022 FINISHED (at least for now !!) after I finish a painting I put it away for a couple of weeks and then look at it with fresh eyes . That is when the finishing touches are usually done Now just a title that is in keeping with the feeling of loneliness and devastation of the bushfires . Does anyone have a suggestion ??

20.01.2022 Dave and I went for a bike ride on our last ‘normal 2 legged’ ride and stopped at a cafe with lovely gardens out the back with all sorts of animals roaming around We very much enjoyed it and I painted this from a photo I took as a reminder of that special ride . I hope you enjoy the process as much as I did

16.01.2022 What a charming cottage with willows NOT jacarandas. LOL I know Barrie will enjoy looking at his favourite cottage everyday !! Thank you Barrie for asking me to paint this scene, it was great fun. Willow Cottage- unframed oils 73x40cm ( I really need to work on my photography skills !!)

14.01.2022 I was absolutely captivated by this old truck ! The photo was taken by Barrie Gill and he happily gave me permission to paint The dark and stormy sky sets the scene perfectly for this old weathered vehicle these old vehicles speak to me of strength, durability, surviving hard knocks and ageing disgracefully I enjoyed painting this so much I may just do a series of old vehicles

12.01.2022 Finally finished !! 'NO LAUGHING MATTER !' What a experience it was to paint this scene. (Photo by Adam Stevenson) at times I saw the beauty and other times I felt the devastation. ... 07.01.2022 I am painting this photo (taken by Adam Stevenson and used with his permission and blessing ) after the bush fires earlier this yeAr. I really feel the Coronavirus has overshadowed the devastation of the fires and I am wanting to paint a series of artworks that remind people that the devastation, need and healing is still going on ! Just because you dont see it in The news everyday it is still an extremely important issue that needs addressing. I believe my artwork is my part ( ever so small ) in bringing that revelation

04.01.2022 Omgosh !! Look what I just unpacked from the move 18 months ago!! I did this painting after seeing the salt pig and salt grinder on my mum’s kitchen bench. I raided my mums fridge and cupboard of the other produce to complete this wonderful still life . NATURES BOUNTY is a framed oil painting 90x54 cm

04.01.2022 MY SPECIALITY !! WATERCOLOUR WORKSHOPS FOR BEGINNERS Again get in quick as I only take 10 students at a time. Ages 12 + so this workshop is a great activity to do with the kids as we start from the very beginning. Busting with excitement

03.01.2022 This is the part of a painting I can get lost in !! The beginning of a painting is exciting and heavy with anticipation... The end part is exciting because you can see it all come together and again anticipating the completed artwork . ... BUT this middle part is when it doesn’t really make sense, looks a bit of a mess and I really have to step back to re assess my plan !! So let’s see how I feel about it tomorrow
