24.01.2022 Meet Coco..... I am pretty sure this dog ranks up the top of the list for dogs with personality. She has energy to burn, is incredibly playful, loves the camera and can hold a pose, and just adores babies!... Coco loves life!

24.01.2022 Are you needing your headshots updated for your business? In the world we live in now it is more important than ever to have a consistent, authentic digital online presence representing your business. Your clients are spending more and more time online and your business needs to be in front of their if you want to make sales. Statistics say it takes a consumer between 7 and 21 times before they will actually purchase. ... Your business and your story showing up consistently is more important than ever in this digital age we find ourselves in. Having headshots that are consistent and cohesive with your brand is something I can help you with BTS......I had been to town this day for whatever reason, so I was dressed in something other than a workshirt and jeans and figured this was a good a time as any to update my headshots. It was late in the afternoon so to kill 2 birds with one stone I would take the dogs with me. I would normally let them out for a run at this time of the day anyway. It was possibly not one of my smarter decisions as they were up for a pat and ended up being in half my shots....I guess the images are authentic if nothing else

23.01.2022 Some new boys from Terrick Merinos Stud Sheep for the girls.

22.01.2022 From an awesome shoot last weekend. People, horses, cattle and the amazing landscape of outback Queensland. Perfect!!

22.01.2022 The essentials for anyone who has a love of horses, or works on a cattle station. On a different note, if you like photography, have you checked out the light in your saddle shed lately? I am sure it will be incredible and give your some moody amazing shots.

20.01.2022 For most of us it is super hard to 'put ourselves out there' on social media. But the reality is, we all like to know the face and story behind the business. Most of CW Qld will know Prue as one half of Ringrose Button Accounting. Prue has decided to branch out and create a business called iButton Events which is essentially about promoting our amazing part of Qld on different levels. Whether that be organising events or encouraging urban based corporations to utilise the CW... to host their team meetings or team getaways. I am continually amazed by the innovative and entrenpreneurial individuals I come across in our region. Thanks for trusting me to capture images for your webpage and general marketing, Prue. It was awesome to work alongside other outback creatives such as Nicole Bond of Bond Media, Arron Skinn of Skinn deep photos and Craig F. (sorry Craig, not sure how to spell your surname) who were shooting film. I can't wait to see your vision come to life, Prue. See more

20.01.2022 While we were up at Cloncurry recently I had a call asking if I could take some shots of the amazing Susan Dowling for a magazine article. For those of you who don't know, Suse is the co-founder of Sisters of the North - a charity born following the devastating floods in North Queensland last year. Suse and I were also at boarding school in Toowoomba together, me being the year above. I love seeing what incredible things the girls of Fairholme College have achieved over the years. To have the opportunity to capture some of these talented, resourceful and entrepreneurial women makes it all the more special.

18.01.2022 My 2020 self portrait! I took this last week as we did a check muster of a paddock - I was waiting for Bruce and Will to turn up at the agreed spot and obviously they took a bit longer to get there than I did, lol. On another note, I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas and have managed to score some rain. We are still waiting, but our turn will come. ... Enjoy the last couple of days of 2020!

18.01.2022 I find it incredibly humbling to be invited back to capture milestones for families.....The two for one deal that is on offer today would be perfect for these occassions. "Lisa is amazing! If you ever want someone to capture those special memories she's the one you want to do it. Lisa is very professional and makes you feel extremely comfortable. We have had her capture all of our special family events to date (our wedding, maternity and now newborn shoot) and we have been more than extremely happy. Highly recommend Lisa!" Reana Thurecht

14.01.2022 Those of you who have followed this page for a while will remember this girl. This is Toffee's foal. She has just turned 3 and is up at Clonagh learning the ways of the world. I rode her while I was up there and I think she can come home to be my horse now :)

13.01.2022 A few shots from Sunday at the draft in Blackall. Fabulous day - thank you to the organising committee - you had some tough calls to make, and the weather also threw in a little curve ball. Well done to all the volunteers and riders. Please tag anyone you know - FB is not co-operating with me. @blackallcampdraftassociation

13.01.2022 Saturday, for me, was spent capturing the special day of this lovely couple at Longreach. The wind was hectic and it had started lightly spitting rain in this shot. The weather was a little touch and go for a while, but it was an absolutely beautiful day that ended with a glorious sunset once the clouds blew over. Like a lot of weddings, this wedding has been 18 months in the making due to Covid putting the kybosh on the plans originally intended for last year. Congratulations Alyson and John - finally you can start the next chapter of your lives together.

11.01.2022 Brit contacted me back in May this year to ask if I would be able to capture her formal photos for her. I love how super organised she was! When she mentioned she would love to have her photos in a shearing shed, I must say, I did a little happy dance. Like all shearing sheds, the light is amazing. Grab all those opportunities thrown your way with both hands, and enjoy the ride, Brit. Oh....and your gallery is ready :). You should have an email in your inbox!

05.01.2022 I took this driving home Sunday afternoon after the campdraft. The rain was heading towards me but I was just in front of it. I thought it looked pretty cool how it had not quite come across the trees in the foreground yet. I am glad I have my camera on my nearly all the time as I sure have not been in the exact right spot at the right time to get this very often!

If you are in the Longreach area it well worth the drive. Drinks and nibbles on sunset, I would recommend. Be careful climbing back down though!

03.01.2022 Rosie and her colt. I remember being taught as a kid learning how to ride that 'there shouldn't be any space between our knees and the saddle'. Horsemanship certainly has progressed in leaps and bounds to the benefit of both the horse and the rider. Thankfully.

03.01.2022 And that's the last sunset for 2020! Well, that sure was a year to remember! No summary of my year at this point - I am still loving my time away from the office and the computer recharging myself ready for a huge 2021. So many awesome things planned. ... I hope you all bring in 2021 in the way you wish....I will most likely be asleep as the clock ticks over. So exciting, I know Happy New Year everyone See you on the flip side

03.01.2022 The light in the late afternoon when it is cloudy is always amazing. The clouds obtain a new depth of colour to them. Does anyone else love this light?

02.01.2022 Thank you AustralianFarmers and Rural Room

01.01.2022 Don't miss out! This two for one deal is only available until 6am tomorrow morning! https://lisaalexanderphotography.info/order-form-12-day1

01.01.2022 I have never been to Africa, but Africa is what I thought of when I saw this. I could be completely off track but the colours, trees and open expanse triggered the images I have of Africa in my head. This was taken at Mt Mitchell between Longreach and Muttaburra, and it is amazing. It is on private property and therefore not open to the public. This was taken as part of my brief to capture images of our amazing outback for iButton Events.

01.01.2022 Long Shadows in the Brigalow. One of the small patches of scrub we have on the property. Difficult to muster on anything that doesn't have 2 wheels only, and a wild dogs paradise should we have any. Luckily it isn't a big patch.
