05.01.2022 Father's day is filled with many mixed emotions for me... My own father passed away recently, which left many words, sadly unsaid. My children's father is estranged from them and for a long time I felt I was not only their mother but a father figure too, doing things that dad's would generally do with/for their kids. And to also lose a caring partner tragically to suicide, again leaving many words unsaid... Children need to have a supportive male role model in their lives a...nd I am so thankful to now have a loving, kind husband who has filled a huge void in our lives. We love you Jon!! And a note to be kinder and more thoughtful to others. We really have no idea what they may be going through. A simple act of kindness might mean the world to someone. Happy Father's day to all the fathers (and father figures) out there!!
