23.01.2022 Newmont shoot part 3/3 - a few weeks back I headed out to The Granites for an action packed 3 days of shooting with Newmont. It was such an interesting trip with lots of firsts! First time underground, first time seeing gold being made, first time seeing the beauty of that area of the Central Desert. So much wildlife! If was really amazing to see how much work Newmont puts into care of the environment and rehabilitation. I learnt a lot and got to see and photograph some prett...y cool things. The end result being a great suite of images. It was all made that much easier by my super lovely and organised host @taste_for_travel and of course all the employees who were a part of the shoot, including my next door neighbor! (small world hey!). A lot of work, big and long days but very rewarding and definitely one of my favourite shoots of late. Thanks for having me Newmont!

20.01.2022 Most of my assignments over the last couple of weeks have been working with kids at school based programs, it's been hectic and heaps of fun! I've been visiting several of our local schools plus a few out on communities as well and have met some really sweet (and cheeky) little people. They are all so curious about my cameras and gear. One cool little lady couldn't remember what the word was for my profession, she called me Tophogrier haha I'll take that! All images captured with parental consent.
