16.01.2022 Wow I can't believe December is here - the month of 'giving' which can be interpreted in many different ways. For me it always represents giving quality time, experiences, food and services and less about the physical presents as I feel so content knowing for myself that the best things in life aren't 'things' Besides Christmas it is also my birthday soon and this year I'll be quietly & graciously celebrating 3 decades of being me! I am so very happy and grateful for each d...ay I get to wake from a comfy bed, surrounded by 2 beautiful beings in our country cottage home in a lovely and supportive community!! My mind is always thinking & visualising towards my goals & life I want to live & the person I want to be which then activates my body to follows with ease of movement! How fantastic that I am able to focus so greatly and feel so physically well on a regular basis as I know not everyone feels that way and I certainly haven't always! Gratitude is an important daily practice for me as without it my energy just feels less vibrant and my thoughts become less positive and direct. It truly creates better happiness I believe. So thank you for all those who have supported my fundraising for this year but it's certainly not over as I strive to continue on in 2021 with more ways to give to those around me & those with disabilities in Asia Pacific! Those nearest and dearest to me if you're someone who insists on giving some 'thing' & you haven't already donated to my mission it would honestly be the best gift otherwise I'd just as much love a quality conversation and time together! 01.01.2022 Wow I’ve been spending many moments the last few days reflecting on my journey over the last year and boy 2020 was a year full of challenging perceptions & perspectives, deep learning, strengthening mindset & focus, continued self development, health, growth and achievement! I’ve always believed in making the best out of every situation, when life gives you lemons you make lemonade of course! I had many new experiences this year which like many can bring about feeling anxi...ous & uncomfortable and create thoughts of lack, limitation, doubt & fear within but I know when I step through it & allow the joy of connecting to a higher purpose of WHY do I then feel the excitement, appreciation and honour that I can make a difference to the lives of people less fortunate than me! We all have so much to give to our dreams, goals, others and even ourselves if we just allow! It’s often our own thoughts and beliefs that keep us from our dreams and achievements! So I’m very proud of what I’ve achieved in the past 365+ days amongst an unique year & having my first baby and am so thankful for those that have helped along the way! We are never fully alone in our accomplishments as it’s our human nature to connect & lend a hand & that in itself I’m so grateful for. This isn’t the end of my mission though I’ll continue right up till my hike end of April 2021 with a few different ways to fundraise to reach the $10,000 mark! Only $2,664.50 to go See more
