23.01.2022 Honestly, there is one thing I love about this job - and its not taking peoples pictures, there is more to it, more depth, the radiance of a family who love each other.... I meet so many families and in that short period of time I am privileged to have an insight to their lives. 13.01.2022 How cute is this little handmade bee that I found in the garden area of Busy Bees at Fraser Coast I've spend the last two days photographing the cutest little Busy Bee's Kindy Graduates of 2020 from this centre! Let me tell you, this centre is second to none! Not only do they have their own "real animals, such as goats, chickens, birds and much more for the kids to interact with and play! They also have a vegie patch, lots of digging, shovels and water jugs to water the flow...ers with! How fun would it Bee, being a kid at this Centre! Oh my gosh, all these little Busy Bee's were abuzz with excitement as they all told me their stories of their next exciting adventure of being big Preppies! 12.01.2022 {Pasni Ceromony - Baby Weaning Ceremony - LMC Photography} What a privilege it was to join a beautiful family who originates from Nepal to capture the celebration of their little girl's "Baby Weaning Ceremony" A long standing tradition, a child of around the 6 months of age is dressed in red silk outfit adorned with gold thread, surrounded by a myrid of dishes that are prepared by the family. The child is first introduced to solid foods - usually Rice Pudding.... This celebration was also accompanied by a priest who carried out the prayers, songs and blessings. I feel so privileged to be welcome into this families home to capture this special moment for their family.

09.01.2022 {LMC Photography - Mackenzie will be 6} Tomorrow my darling girl will be 6! I have documented her life from the minute she was born into this world! From the first week she was born, every Friday I would dress her up in the prettiest of outfits, prop her up one the couch and put a note in front of her with her age, date and any milestone moments take a photo and also do a video recording.... What I thought was busy back then are now busier in another ways and these keepsake notes and images have gone on the wayside but there is one thing I know......these records mean the absolute world to me....and I am so glad I have done them....to which each birthday I revisit them with our family, have a giggle and it strikes up beautiful conversations with our family. But without the notes and the videos fading away, I now document her life capturing her every moment in with beautiful images....which I know when she grows up she will appreciate along with my fond memories of the time. Never let a moment pass by without capturing your family no matter what! The nights are long, the days are short the journey is beautiful.....
