17.01.2022 N E W R E C I P E Choc chip cookie smoothie bowl! This was such a bangin brekkie post workout when I was all hot and bothered! Using @weare_wylde Vanilla Boost protein which is packed with not only all of your essential amino acids but magnesium, iron, phytonutrients (plant nutrients), essential fatty acids and more! ... Ingredients: Into the blender... 2 tablespoons of @weare_wylde vanilla boost protein powder 1 chopped frozen banana handful of Ice cubes about 200ml of filtered water ( add more or less to get a gelato consistency) Blend... this should have a creamy gelato consistency! I scooped mine out into a big mug then added my toppings! Toppings: 4 each chopped Brazil nuts and pecans teaspoon of cacao nibs 2 teaspoons of hemp seeds sprinkle of organic cinnamon dribble of maple syrup Enjoy! 05.01.2022 F I T F E B I will be moving my body, eating intuitively, practicing daily self care and of course walking and playing with the doggo (that’s standard) every day in feb to spread awareness on how we can live a fit life! Not only physical fitness but it a fit mind and spirit! My daily self care routine consists of:... waking at 5:30 (yup for reals) morning coffee on a stroll with Banjo 3-4 days a week I do Pilates @musepilatesstudio (for those of you looking for an online option I used to use @biancamelas, she is amaze morning or evening journaling in my @soulshineastrology moon journal and daily deep breathing when needed to realign my nervous system (switch from fight and flight mode to rest and digest) this is often needed multiple times during the day for me as I can easily get stressed. I like to use alternate nostril breathing or Nadi Shodhana. 5-10 breaths and my frontal lobe is activated again, I come back to my body and I am able to make better decisions and feel connected with my purpose again. I drink 3L of water throughout the day, mostly sparkli as I have a sofa stream and find it helps keep any anxiety at bay plus it’s more fun. eat Intuitively... what does this mean? It means not eating just because I am supposed to or because I have cravings that are masking an emotion I need to feel or eating certain foods because they are super foods or are a fad in the fitness world at the moment. I eat the foods that through diet journaling and listening to my body I have discovered nourish my body and fuel me for my day ahead. This is different each day and is a practice to understand what your body needs (more to@come on this in future posts) ballet once per week with the insanely talented @gretel.grace.coaching playing my guitar and singing at least once a week spending time with my partner and puppy technology free each afternoon having a good sleep routine, well trying too as much as I can haha ( see my post on sleep for some tips) having a good old laugh with friends when I can but not feeling guilty if I can’t make time every week for social events Continued in the comments...
