18.01.2022 Vegan Caesar Salad Mountain with Smokey Sweet Potato Bacon Nutra Organics have made a flavour-packed vegan caesar dressing with the help of Vegan Nutritional Sa...voury Flakes which is the perfect substitute for that cheesy substitute with the added benefit of being a vegan source of vitamin B12. The real game-changer in this recipe is our delightfully smokey sweet potato bacon, that will definitely have you coming back for a second serving. INGREDIENTS 2 baby cos or gem lettuce, chopped in 2 cm rounds 2 cups kale (curly or tuscan) 2 avocados, peeled and cut into eights, lengthways 2 medium sweet potatoes, cut into 2.5 cm cubes 2 tbsp Plant-based liquid smoke 1 tbsp tamari 2 tsp smoked paprika 2 tbsp olive oil 1 cup vegan mayonnaise Juice of 1/2 lemon 1 tsp vegan mustard 2 garlic cloves, grated 1 tsp Plant-based Worcestershire sauce Pepper PRODUCTS 1/2 cup The Wholefood Pantry Pepitas 1 tbsp The Wholefood Pantry Maple Syrup The Wholefood Pantry Pink Himalayan Crystal Salt 1/2 cup The Wholefood Pantry Vegan Nutritional Savoury Flakes 1. Bake sweet potato in olive oil and pinch of salt at 200C for 20 minutes. 2. Meanwhile mix together liquid smoke, tamari, maple & smoked paprika. Pour over sweet potato, carefully turning to coat all over then place back in the oven for 10 minutes until caramelised and sticky. Set aside. 3. Tear pieces of kale and scrunch in your hands for a few seconds to soften, then add to a large mixing bowl along with the baby cos. 4. Make the dressing by combining mayonnaise, vegan nutritional savoury flakes, lemon juice, dijon, garlic and Worcestershire sauce, with a pinch of salt and pepper. 5. Bring everything together in a large bowl and coat with the dressing. 6. Turn out onto a platter and serve immediately.
14.01.2022 Most of us love a bowl of comforting, warm pumpkin soup. And @traceygunn has created this work of art by adding #Bestofthebone organic turmeric-ginger-black pe...pper to increase the depth and add a bit of oomph. That would be oomph both in terms of flavour and adding anti-inflammtory benefits of the broth, ginger and turmeric as well as adding a load of bioavailable collagen protein, minerals and essential fatty acids. Sometimes delicious became just a bit more so : ) #guthealth #healthygut #comfortfood #healingfoods #bonebroth #turmeric #ginger #AIP #antiinflammatorydiet #lchf #bonebrothconcentrate #marrowbone #aminos #highprotein See more
13.01.2022 It's officially porridge season, and it's certainly starting to feel chilly. Here is a great porridge recipe from @sarahsspoonful - YUM! 1/2 cup rolled oats 1/2... small zucchini, grated 1/2 tbsp cacao powder 1/4 cup plant milk 1 scoop protein (such as Whole Earth & Sea Australia protein & greens) 1/2 cup frozen berries 2 tsp chia seeds Add the frozen berries to a small bowl and heat in the microwave until soft - about 20-40 seconds. Mash with a fork and add the chia seeds. Stir well and set aside while you prepare the oats. Add the oats, zucchini, cacao powder, plant milk and 1/2 cup of water to a pan. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook until soft - about 5-10 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir through the protein. Place in a bowl and top with the chia jam. You can also add some peanut butter for extra indulgence and then mix everything in together.

09.01.2022 There was a little coffee shop, where two people arrive and approach the counter. "Five coffees please. Two for us and three hanging. They paid, they took... their two coffees and left. I asked the waiter. "What’s this about hanging coffees?" "Wait and you'll see." Some more people came in. Two girls asked for a coffee each, they paid & left. The following order was for seven coffees and it was made by three women - ‘three for them and four hanging coffees.’ I was left wondering...what is the meaning of the hanging coffees, they leave. Suddenly, a man dressed in worn clothes, who looks like he might be homeless, arrives at the counter and asks sincerely. " Do you have a coffee hanging?" Yes we do sir They serve him a coffee.... I got my answer on these famous " HANGING COFFEES" People pay in advance for a coffee that will be served to whoever can't afford a hot drink. This tradition started in Naples. Amazingly it’s spread throughout the worlds cities and towns. It’s also possible to order not only "hanging coffees" but also a sandwich or a full low cost meal. Make sure to publish this beautiful idea to everyone. Share it if you want to help promote the idea too. Wouldn’t it be great if we could all start doing this in the cities, towns and villages where we live. Let me know if your local coffee shop does this. They all need promoting Please like & share our page
