24.01.2022 My 9 year old wanted a Minecraft birthday cake, but instead he got a peppermint choc loaded icecream cake (so far ) this year for our family get together.

23.01.2022 I'm quite sad to say it, but I am officially finishing up my little cake business. I've really enjoyed doing these cakes for you all, I do love using my creative side to design and make cakes for you, and I especially love seeing my customers faces when they pick up them up or reveal them to their kids, friends and families, it's such an awesome feeling knowing I helped create that feeling in others. However mostly due to my back injury, and the time and pressure this p...uts on my body, and also due to my success with my other business ( https://www.facebook.com/jamminwithlisapb ) that I wish to pursue further and put more time into, I am now hanging up the baking tools and will no longer be taking any new orders in the future. ( Please don't ask me, as I have trouble saying no, and I really have to for my own health. ) I will continue to offer support and advice to anyone wanting to bake their own cakes though. 22.01.2022 A few years ago a friend of mine asked if I’d make her a Dolly Varden style cake for her 40th Birthday, well it finally came around, she gave me the barbie, and here is the end result! My first time making this style of cake! Lisa had an 80s/90s party so this was styled after the popular 80s character, ‘Rainbow Brite’ to be as colourful as she is. Happy 40th Birthday Lisa, hope you enjoyed your party and your cake too! ... Chocolate cake with a bright pink buttercream and dark chocolate ganache inside, with fondant.

20.01.2022 My baby turned 8 this week and so it was time for another cake - a Pokeball! It was my first sphere cake and although it was a bit of a learning curve it wasnt actually as difficult as I thought it would be! The bottom half was a vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream and white chocolate ganache, whilst the top half was a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and dark chocolate ganache. As usual it turned out a lot larger than I had planned and so my boys will be... eating cake in their lunch boxes for many weeks to come!! Not that they are complaining about that at all!!! Figures were not edible this time!

19.01.2022 Here he is with his Minecraft cake. Choc and white choc mud cake with vanilla frosting and Oreo cookie crumbs. Figures all handmade from fondant except for the pick axe. Fair to say he loved it. The boys thought it looked like a face after all the characters were removed too!

18.01.2022 It was my sons birthday on the weekend and so that means another cake was made. This time is was a 'Nightmare Bonnie' cake from Five Nights at Freddy's which is a horror themed video game, and my sons favourite!

Two tiered chocolate mud cake filled with dark chocolate and passionfruit ganache inside the top tier, and salted caramel in the bottom tier. ... Happy 1st birthday beautiful boy!!

14.01.2022 The last cake I did was Logans 10th Birthday cake. He had requested a Roblox cake or one with his YouTube name Slyverye01 on it. So I combined them! I think he liked it. The Roblox head was white chocolate mud with white chocolate ganache and buttercream, and the base was dark chocolate cake with dark chocolate ganache and buttercream.

14.01.2022 Just a little 3 tiered, naked wedding cake I whipped up for some wonderful friends of mine that got married yesterday! It was a caramel mud cake, filled with buttercream and a salted caramel sauce. The succulents were all hand made and fitted in with their wedding decorations quite well if I do say so myself! ... Congrats again Robyn and Damien!

13.01.2022 I've had a busy few weeks leading up to this very special wedding cake request. Here is the finished product, a W Class Tram cake for Kirsten and Bruce. It is a traditional fruit cake, all decorations are edible and were hand made by myself. I am quite pleased with how this turned out in the end. Congratulations Kirsten and Bruce on your wedding! I hope you had a wonderful evening and love your cake too.

09.01.2022 It was hard to come up with a Paw Patrol themed cake to equal the one I did for my son last year, so this year I decided to go with something far simpler! A giant white chocolate mud cake dog food bowl with a choc mud paw print inside.

02.01.2022 My second cake for this week was a two tiered white cake with a swirled floral design and a bursting out floral topper. The base tier was a choc cake with a milk choc ganache centre and the top tier was vanilla cake with a vanilla bean buttercream. Happy 90th Birthday Betty!
