22.01.2022 Be courageous and live the life that your heart is guiding you toward
22.01.2022 Last month I "celebrated" a big birthday I use the term very loosely as anyone who celebrated a birthday while socially distancing and pretty much everything being closed gets that I hardly saw a soul - geesh I hadn't even been to a supermarket at that point. As someone who likes to fly under the radar, this was actually not the end of the world for me, although I was a little sad not to be able to see some of my favourites. ... Early on my birthday morning, Michael packed the girls into the car and took us to get a beautiful takeaway brekkie from one of our local favourites - Samudera for eggs benny, and it was soooo good On our way there, we stopped off to take the drone up for a quick fly. My idea was that I really wanted to get some great images as a memento of the day, hoping we'd capture something special enough to have printed for our walls at home. This was one of the images we got and I absolutely love it. Huge thank you to Michael for flying while I entertained the girls and played a never ending game of i-spy! And no, Lily didn't let me win, she's brutal like that Now to decide, framed or canvas? See more

21.01.2022 My happy place Down enjoying the stunning coastline, ocean roaring, wind crazy and sending everything flying, not a soul to be seen other than us. Sometimes that's all it takes to hit the reset button, feel better and keep on going. I've been verrry quiet on socials lately - things have been crazy busy which I am incredibly grateful for! I've been working with some gorgeous clients and on a few fun and exciting projects which have reall...y fired up my soul. I have sooo much to catch up on and post that it's almost overwhelming. Anyone else get like that? In other news, my youngest baby is turning TWO in a few days, which we are all very excited about. Where has this year gone!!? Anyway, happy Friday! 21.01.2022 How's your casual Friday looking? When I first started working, I lived for casual Fridays - they were the best. I'd start the day choosing outfits, which had to involve denim of course, finishing work early and heading out with mates for a drink (or two, or too many haha!) Oh and the anticipation in the air of the freedom the weekend ahead would bring - nothing beat it!... These days, things are verrrry different to that era, but they're still awesome. And they still involve denim. And a drink or two - cheers to the weekend! So close you can almost taste it! 19.01.2022 An exciting thing happened last week - one of my photos is featured in the New WA Museum Boola Bardip!! I was invited to visit as a contributor last week, and am so grateful that we could also bring the girls with us - we all absolutely loved the experience! I can't rave enough about what an amazing place this is, it is definitely worth a visit A HUGE thank you to the curators who selected my photo - it means the world xx

17.01.2022 There's got to be an upside to having two little munchkins that I swear are plotting together to void me of any sleep and sanity! Not really haha, but poor Sum has some teeth coming through which have been waking her (and me) through the night, and the ever enthusiastic Lily consistently wakes before the crack of dawn before racing into my room with a booming "MORRRNNNING!!!!!!!" Despite the exhaustion, I absolutely love it. And coffee, ...I love coffee too Where was I going with this? That's right, the COLOURS! How magic are the colours as the sun is rising - ahhhh what a dream and totally worth it all On another note, I'm down in the studio setting up for a shoot that I'm really excited about tomorrow morning. Well I would be loving it more if my little wildcard hadn't woken everyone in the house at 4am after Michael and I had a rebellious late night watching back to back episodes of Wayne - has anyone seen it? She has a way of lifting others up and bringing out the best in them that is rare, and to be celebrated. 15.01.2022 I'm waiting for my flight home after an epic few days photographing a couple of project mine sites up north and the awesome people who work there for my employer. I've never felt so small, hot, or dirty but it's been an incredible experience. I met some cool people and we got some unreal shots. I'm going to need a triple shot coffee before I begin the culling and editing process on this project because it's going to take a while Can't wait to get back home for loads of cuddles from my girls and to get my feet back into the water, like this magic evening at the local

09.01.2022 Our cheekiest munchkin, Summer. She has kept us on our toes since the second she became mobile, and has two modes: 1. going at a million miles a minute with death defying stunts 2. asleep ... Half a second after I took this photo she threw herself over the back of the lounge, where I caught her one handed before she caused some damage to herself on the hard floors. 06.01.2022 Hey! It's been a while and it's definitely nice to be back, I've really missed everyone and can't wait to catch up on what you have been up to! I took some time off from working which was amazing, except of course for a handful of super special sessions, because some things just can't wait , and they were all totally worth it - this beautiful session being one of them this gorgeous mama has been in my thoughts all day! I'd love to say my break was relaxing, lazing by t...he pool with cocktails in hand, but not on my girls' watch although we did fill our days holidaying at home, enjoying the beach, taking on way too many house projects at once and trying to catch up on everything we didn't get to last year. And no, the list isn't finished, not by a long shot haha. On the plus side, I'm definitely feeling refreshed and inspired to create some gorgeous photos, so if you're thinking of booking a session, hit me up!! Hope you have a great weekend xx See more

05.01.2022 8 BRONZE AWARDS - THE PORTRAIT MASTERS 2020 I am ridiculously excited and feeling so grateful to have earned 8 bronze awards in the international Portrait Masters 2020. A bronze award means five master photographers believe that you are of a high professional standard. These are incredible photographers who I truly look up to - it was my first time entering and I literally cried with happiness when I received my results. ... I am so thankful for the education and constant inspiration I receive from this community to keep pushing me to achieve more with my portrait photography, and I am now working towards my accreditation.
