25.01.2022 MERRY CHRISTMAS from everyone at the LISMORE FARMERS MARKET!! Saturday morning was our fun last market for the year. After yet another crazy week including flash flooding we had a fabulous market turn out. Santa popped in to say 'HO HO HO' and hand out a few early gifts to the kiddies with the help of his Elf. Some kids were impressed to see Santa's enormous sack of gifts ready for Christmas Eve.... The Morrow's family had free bunches of carrots for Santa's hard working reindeer. See you again on Saturday 2/1/2021

21.01.2022 HAPPY EASTER TO LISMORE AND SURROUNDING AREA Special love to all the families financially disadvantaged by sudden closures ( esp. Bluesfest food vendors, etc) due to COVID restrictions. These beautiful hand painted eggs were done by family members of a regular shopper at Lismore Farmers Market on eggs purchased from our delightful Greg of Amarna Farm. A reminder of the soul food of family rituals, art and craft ... Thank you Ellena for bringing them in to show us, they are exquisite.

Christmas cakes: packed full of Aus...tralian fruits and nuts, farm fresh eggs and made with love. A variety of shapes (round or square), iced or glazed, large or small. Large - <1kg / Small. - 350gm. Prices for the cakes range from $35 for large to $15 for the small. Panforte - that rich Italian delicacy overflowing with figs and other dried fruits, macadamia, hazelnut and pecan nuts, bound together with chocolate and honey. Cost $30 for the Panforte. 04.01.2022 This Saturday, come to the Lismore Farmers Market- Direct From The Grower and meet Julie from the amazing charity Who Gives A Cluck. Julie is rehoming hens to approved mother cluckers. All these chooks have been rescued from a caged egg (Battery) Farm and will be going home with people who will love them. If you would like to adopt a rescue chook that still lays eggs, see Julie.
