19.01.2022 Hi Everyone We have decided to make the early call to cancel tomorrow's games. Given the fields are already saturated and the predicted forecast of more rain overnight and tomorrow will probably cause the LCC to close the grounds anyway. We never like calling games off, but in this case , we thought it would be easier for parents to organise school pick ups, routine buses etc. So now we won't see your smiling faces till February 3, 2021. We have organised referees payments, a...nd will be at the clubhouse from 5.30pm for senior touch on Monday 21 December, so will be available to give the kids their money if the you could up bring them up that night and pick it up. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Cassie, Lisa, Doug. Rod and Jen See more

17.01.2022 Notice to all Players, Parents/Carers and Officials Owing to the increased risk of the spread of COVID-19, the committee has decided to cancel Touch games for the rest of the season. Consideration of everyone’s health and safety is at the forefront of this decision and I can assure you all it has been not been taken lightly. 08.01.2022 Hello to our Touch community - just want to update you on the present situation regarding our summer competition. We are planning to start on October 12th, but there are a few issues to sort through first. We have a new program for registering teams and players called MySideline There will be a process to register teams and players - more news on that as soon as we have it sorted. We also have to have a COVID Safe plan in place, we are working on that as well. At this stage t...he current Health directive will be updated on the week of our start date, so all a bit up in the air if there is an increase in community transmission of the virus. We are going to need more volunteers, especially for the Junior Competition to run safely and successfully. Our Junior Director, Jason Coram has resigned and has had to leave the area for work, so that has left a big hole We will also need any adults (coaches, referees, canteen helpers etc) taking part in the juniors competition to apply for a Working with Children check - this is free for volunteers, and can be done online. We will also be able to accept payments for Juniors using the Active Kids Vouchers. We are looking for a person to volunteer to be our canteen coordinator - all expenses relating to the position will be reimbursed Will update again as soon as possible. Cheers Jen See more

03.01.2022 Touch Football Australia along with NSW Touch Football and Queensland Touch Football have taken the decision to implement a suspension of all community Touch Fo...otball competitions until Monday 4th May 2020 (suspension active as of Tuesday 24th March). Touch Football Australia is committed to playing our part in ensuring an effective community-wide response to COVID-19. Throughout the crisis, Touch Football Australia has been guided by government health authorities. The government health experts have access to all the information necessary to assess the full range of consequences of major policy decisions and Touch Football Australia has been reliant on this information to inform its decision-making process. Touch Football Australia Chief Executive Officer Jamie O’Connor advised Sport Australia of the decision to suspend competitions today. Consistent with our approach to date, we continue to monitor the risk to our community, and it is on this basis that we have collectively decided to implement a temporary suspension of all community competitions. This shutdown affects all community competitions nationally and takes effect from 24th March 2020. We will continue to monitor this situation closely and will update members as soon as more information becomes available. Be assured we will do everything we can to start playing Touch Football again. In the meantime, stay safe and well.

01.01.2022 Based on talks with Sport Australia today, and Prime Minister Scott Morrison's COVID-19 update for the nation, as well as NSW Touch Football and Queensland Touc...h Football, please note that Touch Football competitions of under 500 people in one location around the country will remain open, unless administrators of a specific competition decide not to run their own comp. We advise admins & participants to follow hygiene precautions. And see TFA's COVID-19 Reporting Protocol below. Read more details in the latest news on the www.touchfootball.com.au home page.
