If you are thinking about getting your ears done or your child's ears done before signing up for the 2021 season we recommend you get them done by the middle of January. This allows them to have the proper time to heal. NO earrings taped or otherwise will be allowed on court!

18.01.2022 The sun has now set on our 2020 season and we thank all of our clubs and members for making the most of it. Certainly a strange one but one we are lucky to have had at all. Over the coming days we will share photos from today but for tonight we need a little rest and recovery time too. See you all back on court in 2021!!

15.01.2022 Trials for the LDNA 2021 Representative teams will be occurring from the first week of February. This will be for the 12s, 13s, 14s, 15s, 17s and Opens. If you are interested please email Mel at [email protected]. Details needed include: Name... Email MyNetball Number D.O.B Once numbers have been sent through dates and timeslots can be allocated. Rep selection days will be held on Saturday Mornings for the 12s, 13s and 14s. A mixture of midweek and weekends MAY be considered for the 15s, 17s and Opens. 11s Development Selections will occur AFTER the squads have been chosen. We don't require the above information at the present stage. Further information will be emailed out to you early-mid January.

12.01.2022 If you are joining us tomorrow for our clinic with Gretel and Lara, please note the following reminders: - 5pm start time (NSW time) Please arrive prior to ensure participants and spectators are signed in - Please come prepared to play with a full labelled water bottle (and refill if it is warm - taps and bubblers remain unavailable), a personal sweat towel and shoes on. ... - Please use the bathroom before arrival as toilet use should try to be avoided. ENTRY AND EXIT IS VIA DIADEM ST BRIDGE as per our 2020 season - If anyone is unwell, they are NOT to attend. A refund can be granted if Clinic Hub is informed prior to the start of the clinic. - Hand sanitiser will be provided upon entry and between-group rotations. - Balls, post pad protectors and high traffic areas (taps, bubblers, ball bags etc) will be disinfected pre and post clinic. - Spectators must adhere to the physical distancing requirement of 1.5m, however, pick up and drop off is encouraged. - All spectators must sign in when registering the participant at the beginning of the clinic. - If you would like something signed by Gretel and Lara please bring it along with you. As an example, previous participants have had club visors, water bottles, autograph books and club polos signed. Gretel and Lara can’t wait to meet you and are looking forward to a fun afternoon with you all!!

09.01.2022 Nomination Forms and Fact Sheets are now available to be EMAILED to all interested athletes for the 2021 LDNA Representative Teams. All you/your parent/carers need to do is to email the LDNA Rep Co-ordinator at [email protected] with your name, MyNetball ID number and Date of Birth. In return the forms then will be emailed out to the nominated email address. The forms need to be completed in FULL and returned. Please make sure you specify the preferred playing pos...itions. Representative trials will be a closed event with only the Athlete and one parent/carer allowed to attend together with LDNA officials as appointed including umpires, selectors and coaches. 08.01.2022 It’s not everyday your sporting heroes come to town but this afternoon a group of keen and eager young netballers made the most of their opportunity to learn from Firebirds superstars Gretel Bueta and Lara Dunkley Thanks to Clinic Hub for bringing these legends to Lismore and to all our young guns, we hope you enjoyed your afternoon!

06.01.2022 A Face to Face component of the Coaching Development Course will be held at Lismore Netball Clubhouse and Courts on Sunday 7th March 2021, starting at 9am. Duration approximately 5 hours. Registrations into this course will open on 1st January 2021 via MyNetball. Below are the steps to register:... * Log on to your MyNetball page. Learning > online learning * Browse available courses * Search for Coach Development Face to Face Workshop * Select DCC Lismore District 0703 The course will cost $66 There are spaces for 12 people! Need to register quickly! Lismore registered members get the first three days to register then it opens to all other NNSW registered members. Prerequisites for this course are: *2020 Registered member of NNSW *Minimum age of 15 years + on completion of the course *Current Foundation Coaching Accreditation *Completion of the online Rules of Netball Theory Exam and obtain a pass of 70% or above find this exam via MyNetball and results are valid for four years. *Complete the Coach Development Online Course accessible via MyNetball Participants will not be able to register for this course unless they met all these prerequisites. This is a great opportunity for our Lismore Coaches to upskill and progress to the next level of National Coaching Accreditation. Clubs- please share with your coaches!
