24.01.2022 NATIONAL RIDE2SCHOOL DAY We are inviting students and families to participate in National RIDE2SCHOOL day tomorrow. Students participating will join more than 350,000 students across the nation who will ride, walk, scoot or skate to school. Mrs Evans will meet interested students tomorrow morning at the Post Office 8:30 (leaving at 8:40) - otherwise feel free to make your way to school directly from home!

21.01.2022 Congratulations to our whole school community on completing an interesting Term 3! Everyone tried their very best and produced some wonderful work. We are so proud of you all. Students celebrated finishing Remote and Flexible Learning with a WebEX dance party. Please enjoy a well deserved break, see you all back at school in Term 4!
17.01.2022 Today students had the opportunity to make some dorodango’s which is a Japanese mud ball. Students enjoyed getting dirty and were pleased with their final product.
17.01.2022 We are super grateful that we had the opportunity to hold our Swimming Sports last Friday. Students had a brilliant day competing in a range of events. A huge thank you to parents involved in cooking the BBQ lunch and everyone who attended to show their support.
15.01.2022 Today we welcomed the students back to onsite learning. It was great to see all the students smiling faces and hear all about their holidays. We begun the day settling back into routines and sharing our Remote and Flexible Learning journeys. Students also had a fabulous time in the community garden. There were plenty of weeds to pull out and lots of new plants that were planted in our wonderful new raised garden beds. A big thank you to the Kerr family for donating and setting up the raised gardens beds. LPS is very grateful for this generous donation. The students thoroughly enjoyed using them today.
13.01.2022 Yesterday the students had a wonderful day at Adventure Park. Our students demonstrate great courage and perseverance. Our students supported each other when being challenged with a new experience and did so with a smile on their face.
13.01.2022 Today students enjoyed a STEM challenge, creating a new and improved sleigh for Santa . We used available recourses from our art room and had a great afternoon working together as a whole school project.
12.01.2022 We had a good turn out this morning for walk to school. The weather was kind to us and we enjoyed chatting on our way to school. Thanks to everyone who participated.

10.01.2022 This afternoon students had the opportunity to get creative with natural materials such as clay and sticks. Students used their imagination to design, create and write a mini story. They were all unique. We hope you all enjoy these photos.
09.01.2022 We are very excited to open our Spoonville to the wider community. LPS students have already created some wonderful characters and are excited to watch Spoonville grow. Please feel free to add your own character, we can’t wait to see the new additions!
08.01.2022 We would like to thank Jess for her dedication and compassion throughout all her years at Lismore Primary School in a teacher and principal role. Jess has been the most amazing to work with. She has always had what is best for the students of LPS in the forefront of her mind. She has left the school in such a positive place and we will continue to do our best to keep Lismore Primary an amazing school for students, staff, parents and the community. 08.01.2022 Lismore Primary School PFA invites you to our Movie Night Fundraiser, screening the first "Peter Rabbit" movie, on the big screen (either outdoors or in the sports shed depending on weather). The perfect way to end the school term, and start the Easter weekend. Bring your own chairs or picnic rug, and enjoy our BBQ options for dinner from 6:30pm, with the movie commencing at 8pm. We'll also have softdrinks, juice, bottled water, lolly bags, icecream cones, and slices to purch...ase on the night. Cost $10 per family, which includes popcorn. 07.01.2022 What a busy and enjoyable week we have had so far. The students have been engaging in NAIDOC week activities and learning all about Remembrance Day over the last couple of days. Yesterday the students placed their poppies at the cenotaph in Lismore. Our School Captain Breeana laid a wreath on behalf of our school today. We are so proud of our students and look forward to the rest of the week. Lest we forget
07.01.2022 Today the students were learning all about the importance of bees. Thank you to Shari for organising a wonderful Zoom session with Anna Currucan. The students learnt so much and were engaged with the content. What a great way to spend the last hour of our day.

02.01.2022 The F-2 students have thoroughly enjoyed creating some minibeasts with modelling clay this week. They look wonderful and we are very excited to share them with the wider community.

02.01.2022 Yesterday we released the last of our Monarch butterflies. What a wonderful experience it has been to watch the butterflies hatch. Thank you to all the families who helped care for our butterflies. It was successful and all 5 butterflies hatched and were released in our garden.

01.01.2022 LPS students and staff had a wonderful day celebrating book week. The dress ups looked fabulous and the school was full of excitement during our parade. The students embraced this years theme and created some creative creatures!
