20.01.2022 Reminder: book club orders and money are due tomorrow!
18.01.2022 ***ATTENTION*** Due to the changes in health advice the 2021 arrangements for the Easter Hat Parade planned for tomorrow have had to change. NO visitors will be permitted on the school site however the parade will go ahead for the students attending school. Please check the current guidelines on the NSW Health site for details. Whilst this is disappointing we need to keep everyone safe and we don’t feel that we can confidently implement a COVID plan that would do this. ... Staff will be photographing the Easter fun so please keep an eye out on this page for updates.

17.01.2022 Each year we show a slideshow of photos of our graduating Year 6 students to Stage 3. Can you please send along a baby photo, starting school photo and a current photo of your Year 6 student? Photos may be emailed to the school [email protected] or students may bring the photos to school to be scanned and returned.... This is a great tradition at Lismore Public School which all the students enjoy and, in a year with a lot of changes, they are very excited about this going ahead. Please have photos in by Tuesday 8th December 2020.

11.01.2022 Public Health Alert stay at home restrictions New stay at home restrictions were released on Monday 29 March and will apply immediately to anyone who visited Greater Brisbane since Saturday 20 March regardless of their current location. If a person has returned from Greater Brisbane, which includes Brisbane, Logan, Moreton Bay, Ipswich and Redland Local Government Areas since 20 March 2021 must comply with the Stay at Home Order consistent with those living in ident...ified areas in QLD until 5 pm Thursday 1 April 2021. This means they cannot attend work or come to school for this period. Non-essential travel to Brisbane is not advisable at this time. In addition, a number of locations in NSW have been identified to be associated with a COVID- 19 case. The full list of locations is available on the NSW Health website along with the instructions you will be required to follow if you visited any of these sites during the specified date and time. This means: If a person has been to any of the close contact locations on the dates and during the times listed, they must get tested immediately and self-isolate for a period of 14 days from the time they attended the location. This means they will not be able to attend work or school for the full 14 day period. If a person has been to one of the casual contact locations on the dates and during the times listed, they must get tested and self-isolate until they receive a negative result. That means they cannot attend work or school until they receive confirmation of their negative result. Then they can return to their normal living arrangements. Please monitor the NSW Health website for locations of concern over the coming days as changes may be made with new sites and locations added. If your child has been in the Brisbane area since 20 March 2021, please come to the school and collect your child immediately.
