05.01.2022 Dear members, It is time to pass the baton! Bob and I have been heavily involved in Workers Baseball for the past 6 years which feels more like 20. Over the years we have had the pleasure of watching many juniors grow and enjoy the love of baseball, as well as watching many senior teams over the years win grand finals, make it to finals or get the wooden spoon. We are grateful for all the friendships we have made throughout the years, and we will continue to cherish these. ...Thank you for making our jobs easier (at times) and showing that Workers Club is the BEST baseball club in Lismore. Over the years we have held many great and successful fundraisers from golf days, to chocolate boxes, to the dog races and let’s not forget our Saturday night raffles at the Workers Club. Without these fundraisers we could not have possibly functioned as successfully as we have. It comes with thanks to all the members and members families who have supported this club. Thank you to all the committee members for your support at the meetings over the past 6 years, we are very grateful for this. Now is the time for some new faces to take over our roles for this great club. Positions will be open at the AGM which will be held in January, date to be advised. So, with only two weeks left of our very unusual season lets come together as one and support each other right through to the finals. See you around the fields in 2021! Mel and Bob
