24.01.2022 Fence recently completed in Warrandyte North. 125mm x 125mm cypress posts with 50mm project mesh. 2 coats of Natural colored oil applied prior to mesh being attached. Well done to Sparky. Pretty much a solo effort.

23.01.2022 Retaining wall with fence on top completed in Eltham this week. Was very challenging due to the elevated nature of the wall being 1 meter atop another poorly constructed wall. 1.8 m holes for a 1m retaining wall. That's not going anywhere mate.

16.01.2022 Before and after shots of work completed in Hurstbridge earlier this year.

12.01.2022 Red Gum Post and Rail fence in Eltham North completed. 8mm sandblasted steel brackets were custom made and welded to the top of the retaining wall. The fence is 150 x150 Red Gum with 150mm x 50mm rails. There were a few challenges such as many angles, step ups, step downs and the height factor. Fence has three coats of oil to preserve the color. Finally we attached 25 x 25mm project mesh to the back of each panel.

12.01.2022 Going the extra mile. Drum fire in the shed to warm it up enough to prime and paint anodized aluminum. Final coat finished at 8pm.

11.01.2022 Merbau fence and double gates just completed in Hurstbridge. Posts are 125x125mm cypress. Splash of oil to finish off.

10.01.2022 Project completed in Briar Hill earlier this year. The client wanted us to create a more functional and usable yard area including a lawn area for playing sports with the kids, concrete the driveway creating a flatter area in front of the garage, trampoline area, deck and some general landscaping to lift the overall look of the yard. We also constructed a new boundary fence with retaining wall underneath to create a larger lawn area. Lillypillys were planted along the fence...line which will eventually create a nice green screen. We also planted a number of indigenous grasses in areas to soften the rusted steel panels being held in place by bluestone pillars. A practical addition was a bin nook at the front screened with a paling fence and paved with bricks removed from the original landscape. The deck and screens were clad with 140mm Merbau. Rusted steel screens were incorporated to tie in with the Coreten panels used in other areas of the yard. Below are some before and after photos. There was no formal design for the project, as it was a dynamic project whith consultation with the client and sharing of ideas. Thanks to Impact Paving, Crowle Constructions, and my boys for making this project possible. Also thanks to the client for trusting that the picture/design in my head was going to be what they were looking for.

09.01.2022 Finally after many months waiting we have been able to complete the Diamond Creek Swim Spa project. Below are some pics. 07.01.2022 65m Red Gum post & rail fence recently completed in Wattle Glen. No before pics, but it was definitely an improvement on what was there. We will be doing more works at this property next year so stay tuned for more pics.

04.01.2022 Decking refurbishment completed in Panton Hill. Existing decking boards were cheap Indonesian hardwood and were rotting after only a few years. We reinforced Subfloor, swapped the decking boards for 140mm merbau, added a 140 x 35mm merbau top rail as well as added new steps with garden boxes either side. A few coats of decking oil and voila.

04.01.2022 Retaining wall with fence on top completed in Heidelberg this week. Posts for fence are 125mm x 125mm cypress. Panels are black Aluminium pool fencing.

03.01.2022 Custom built fence completed in Montmorency prior to Christmas.

02.01.2022 Just completed in Diamond Creek. Exposed posts paling fence with 125 x 125 cypress posts with pyramid tops cut in.
