19.01.2022 BANANA, RASPBERRY, COCONUT COOKIES Kid friendly, 1 bowl, 12-15 min, no fuss & delish! Soooo many other incredible cookie recipes from My lovely little lunch box https://mylovelylittlelunchbox.com//raspberry-coconut-co/... INGREDIENTS 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted, slightly cooled 1/2 cup Unrefined Coconut Sugar 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract 1 egg 2 large extra ripe bananas, mashed 1 1/4 cups wholemeal flour 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional) 3/4 teaspoon baking powder 1 1/4 cups rolled oats 1 cup shredded coconut 3/4 cup raspberries (fresh or frozen) INSTRUCTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 160 C, line tray with baking paper. Set aside. 2. Place the coconut oil, coconut sugar, vanilla, egg and mashed bananas into a large bowl and whisk to combine. 3. Add the wholemeal flour, salt, baking powder, oats and shredded coconut and using a wooden spoon stir to combine. 4. Gently fold through the raspberries. 5. Use an ice-cream scoop or measuring cup to shape cookies. Arrange cookies on prepared tray. 6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden. Allow cookies to cool on tray. . #LTYBnourish

17.01.2022 DARK CHOC PICNIC SLICE 2-step healthy recipe to help curb your choccie cravings, 3pm pick-me-up or after dinner snack Thanks to @nutritionist_stephgeddes *Makes 14-16 pieces*... INGREDIENTS: 160g of 85% dark chocolate (a little more or less wont matter!) 1tbs coconut oil 1/3 cup peanuts 3 heaped tbs peanut butter 1/2 cup chopped, pitted medjool dates 1 cup brown rice puffs (any rice cereal) METHOD: Heat a small saucepan with some water in it to the boil. Add the chocolate (broken into pieces) and coconut oil in a heat proof bowl and place on top of the saucepan without the water touching the bowl. Heat until melted. Add the remaining ingredients to the chocolate mix and stir well. Spoon into a loaf tin or another small silicon baking dish and leave to set in the fridge for at least 1 hour. Enjoy! She’s lost 19kg most importantly, she’s kept it off Strength, cardio, running, walking and stretching is all part of her CONSISTENT training regime She prescribes to BALANCED eating and lifestyle No quick fix, magical tablet or starvation diet got Penny to this point. Hard work, determination and consistency did! 09.01.2022 Welcome to the team Locky We are lucky enough to have had Locky be a LTYB member for 7 years and work within the network as a personal trainer for the past 2 years. Some of our long time members would remember Locky's mum Julie, and sister Kaisha - who were also both trainers here at the Moonee Ponds studio!... Locky has completed his Bachelor in Exercise and Sports Science at Deakin University with Majors in Exercise Physiology and Strength and Conditioning. He recently discovered his love for travel & spent 3 months travelling across Europe and Asia in 2019 but now looks to continue further studies in 2021. 01.01.2022 SUNDAY ISO-BAKE Our trainer Dani shares her 2 step SALTED CARAMEL BLISS BALLS recipe INGREDIENTS 1 cup dates (soaked in boiling water for 10 minutes) ... 1 cup almonds 1/4 cup dedicated coconut (plus extra for rolling) Pinch of salt METHOD: 1. Add all ingredients into a food processor and pulse until ingredients come together. 2. Roll into bite sized balls then roll in coconut. Store in fridge. .
