The wonderful Liz Martin took us on a journ...ey of observing, immersing and capturing our surrounds through a practice of Tonal Plein Air. Paying homage to our sublime nature places through drawing and painting with charcoal and ink, building artistic practice, connection to place, community and cultural expression. Big thanks to Litchfield Council for supporting this activity through the Community Grants program.

08.01.2022 What an amazing weekend. Full of community events, friends and some surprises in the garden and Humpty Doo. Started with joining the Litchfield Seniors selling tickets for the Christmas raffle and the amazing Rotary Club’s Suicide Awareness event at Coolalinga Woolies.... Cuppa with friends always a winner on Saturday afternoon. Then the surprise crash when a very large tree on the driveway decided it had had enough and came tumbling down taking a number of others with it.... clean up job for Sunday!!! Fred’s Pass Show Talent Quest was next on the agenda. Sponsored by Litchfield Council, organised by the Show Association. Wow, Wow wow .... how great is it to see our local talent perform. Congratulations, well done to all who participated and to the winners ‘Kathryn and the Overbytes’. Then to top it off.... a scary time keeping watch on the Humpty Doo fires that were oh so close. Thank you to our great community for the neighbourhood support and to the fire as emergency services for a job well done keep us safe.

03.01.2022 Just letting everyone know that the 'Get Active Litchfield' Mc Minns Lagoon walking group will continue to walk each Thursday morning. Like the unicycle group we are keen to keep the activity happening. Just a slight change of time to an 8.30 am start - to accommodate the hotter weather. We look forward to having more people joining us.

02.01.2022 So many of our fabulous residents work hard supporting our community via active participation in our Community groups. Hope you take the the opportunity to check out the Litchfield Community Grant Scheme which is opening soon. ALSO, as a reminder these Grants are primarily funded through your recycling efforts at the Waste Transfer Stations. ... SO.... that means funds we collect from every can, bottle or battery you correctly recycle when you drop off your waste at the WTS adds more $$$$... to the total we can give out.

01.01.2022 Congratulations to Lyn and Shirley. Great work great effort.
