25.01.2022 Good morning ladies and gentlemen, WE HAVE OUR AGM DATE AND TIME When? Friday 25th of September at 11:00am Where? N53_-1.21/1.22... We put out another post late last week seeking to fill some positions that we have coming up with LiTES once a few of the executive committee graduate at the end of this Trimester We are looking for a few ladies who are studying a field in STEM. These fields can be anything from Social Science through to Electronic Engineering. We currently have members that study Information Technology, Psychology, Biomedicine, Aviation and Engineering, etc. We have a received a few nominations, however, we would love more of you to put your hand up if you think you would be a great asset to LiTES We are on the search to fill the following positions: Treasurer (Someone who is great with money and has a flair for excel spreadsheets) Secretary (Someone with great organisational skills and attention to detail) Vice President (Someone who enjoys helping out, great at communication and not afraid to step up when the president needs assistance or is unavailable) Requirements: Flexible Reliable Great communication skills and teamwork No prior experience is needed, just your enthusiasm and willingness to take on a new role! Training will be provided by Griffith Clubs as well as mentoring from prior committee members. 21.01.2022 Hi gals and guys. This trimester fellow student Tessa Atkinson is hosting fortnightly catch-ups for any and all School of ICT Students at Griffith. The aim is for us to get to know our ICT peers and have some fun along the way. The next one is TOMORROW Tuesday (28th July) 10am-11am. 20.01.2022 Hey STEM fanatics, Come and join us on Friday the 28th for a study day! Come down and link up with your friends to smash out some study or even meet like minded people who can help you with that work you're having trouble with! Entry is Free for all paid LiTES members, however if you aren't, we welcome non-financial members and members from other clubs for just a $5 entry fee (we do cash or bank transfer)! We will be at the Nathan campus, however the room is still TBC. It st...arts at 10:30 and finishes at 1:30 with snacks and nibbles included for everyone.
