22.01.2022 Here is our very own little Lite Spikes legend, my daughter Mikayla. After battling through all manner of foot and lower leg issues last season Mikayla has had a very successful 2020/2021. 11 Centre records (make that 13 records as of6/3/21) so far across 7 events with Albury Little A's. Numerous Club records with Albury Athletics and 4 medals from 4 events at the recent Athletics Victoria State Championships. It goes without saying that Mikayla only uses the very best replacement spikes - Omni Lite spikes.

14.01.2022 Another amazing Lite Spikes Legend is Catriona Bissett. Current 800m Australian 800m record holder and now Olympic Qualifier. Just in case you have been in hiding somewhere, Catriona ran a 800m olympic qualifer of 1:59.12 at the Qld track Classic recently. Lite Spikes is super chuffed that Catriona took some of our spikes for two laps around the track the other night and now gets the opportunity to take some of our spikes with her to Tokyo!!... Congratulations Catriona on your superb run, we can't wait to see you compete again soon.

01.01.2022 LITE SPIKES LEGEND - GEENA DAVY Congratulations to Geena Davy, another junior Lite Spikes Legend who continues to shine in any event she concentrates on. Whilst currently ranked No. 1 in Australia in the U15W Long and Triple jumps, Geena also has a World Ranking and only last week was crowned National Combined Event Champion. I believe that she will also be crowned the U15W long and triple jump champion in a few weeks time.... I will refrain some listing all of Geena's records, I have simply lost track of them all. I have had the pleasure of watching Geena compete over the years, my daughter competes in the same age group. 'Exceptional' is just one word that comes to mind when it comes to Geena's athletics. Geena is coached by one of the best jumps coaches in Victoria and good friend, Jason Hodson. Congratulations Geena and Jason. I am looking forward to seeing and hearing what new amazing achievement is next for you.
