21.01.2022 As the competition enters its 3rd week we see some old rivalries reignite. Panorama Football Club make the trip down the Great Western Highway to meet old foes ...Lithgow Workmans Soccer FC for our first fixture of the weekend. A rivarly that has been at the forefront of the local Bathurst competition for a number years. PFC come off a disappointing lose to Barnies while Workies got their campaign off to a winning start by getting the points against Macquarie at home. At the top of the local Dubbo competition for a number of years, Orana Spurs Football Club and Dubbo Football Club Bulls take to the field to do battle once more. Always a tight contest, who will stamp their authority as Dubbos number 1 prospect for the title. Bulls come into the game as favourites after a convincing 4-1 win against Parkes last week. Or will it be a young Macquarie United Football Club side who make their mark in round 3 when they welcome Parkes Cobras to their home turf. Its been a tough start to season for Macquarie with 2 consecutive away games and with a few players coming back into the side this could be their weekend when everything starts to click. Predictions and results aside, we are loving the reformed WPL competition and we look forward to seeing you around the grounds again this Saturday. #wpl2020
21.01.2022 ROUND 6 FIXTURES As we move closer to the halfway point of the competition, round 6 of the WPL brings some exciting tangles. Dubbo Football Club Bulls ...make the longest road trip in the competition to face a Lithgow Workmans Soccer FC that has been hard to beat at their home ground. With the winner of the game going to the top of the table, the stakes dont get much higher. Its Panorama Football Clubs turn to travel after a strong performance in front of their home fans when they take on the Parkes Cobras. In what is sure to be an arm wrestle of a match, Parkes will be hungry to register their first win on home turf. In the final game of the round, Orana Spurs Football Club will be looking to reignite the form that has seen them a top of the local Dubbo competition for the last few years when they take on Barnstoneworth United Football Club - Orange. A win could see Orana get back in touch with the top 4 while Barnies will be looking to catapult themselves into the pointy end of the table. Bring it on! #wpl2020

20.01.2022 The Lithgow Workmans are embracing the underdog tag before the Premier League finals.
19.01.2022 The Lithgow Workmans Club will be raising funds for the Stroke Foundation in memory of Sams wife, Anita. With your support, we are fundraising to raise awareness and funds to prevent, treat and beat stroke.... This year there will be almost 56,000 new and recurrent strokes, that is one stroke every 9 minutes. Stroke is one of Australias biggest killers and a leading cause of disability. It kills more women than breast cancer and more men than prostate cancer. With your support, the Stroke Foundation can provide support to those affected right now and fund research to help prevent stroke, save lives and enhance recovery. Please join us in supporting the Stroke Foundation at our home games on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September at Marjorie Jackson Oval. Thanks in advance.
18.01.2022 Great goal to finish it off today, Logan Inwood

09.01.2022 Finals football here we go
09.01.2022 Massive Saturday of Games Today Dubbo Football Club Bulls host Lithgow Workmans Soccer FC to kick off todays action in a match that is a real battle for 2nd Pl...ace as it stands. Its the last game for the Bulls so they will put everything into this, while Lithgow need points to avoid possibly going to the last day to ensure Finals Football. Shortly after, its a must win for both Barnstoneworth United Football Club - Orange and Orana Spurs Football Club. Spurs can move close to a surprise Finals appearance with a win (and Cobras doing the same) but after an epic midweek comeback Barnies will also need to win to get back into the Top 4, especially with the Bulls-Workies battle meaning one of them drop points. The final game, streamed live, sees Parkes Cobras heading to Bathurst to tackle Panorama Football Club. The Cobras need to a win (and Barnies to get rolled) to try and sneak in. Of course, the Goats wont let that happen easily, hoping to secure Finals Football themselves before they host the Premiers next Saturday. Premiers Macquarie United Football Club get to watch the action underneath them on the Table unfold. We will look to update scores through the Matches.
08.01.2022 Lest We Forget.
07.01.2022 An Exciting weekend of matches that have thrown open the Top 4 Race. Macquarie United Football Club maintained the Top Position with a commanding 4-1 win over L...ithgow Workmans Soccer FC. Panorama Football Club did the double over Orana Spurs Football Club with a 3-1 win and made a step closer to securing Finals Football. Parkes Cobras provided a huge upset with an away 2-1 win over 2nd placed Dubbo Football Club Bulls squashing their Premiership hopes in the process. On Sunday, in a postponed match, Lithgow Workies moved back into the Top 4 with a strong 3-1 win over Parkes Cobras. They actually moved from outside the 4 to a position with 3 games to play where they could even sneak the Premiership should Macquarie United slip up in their last 2 matches.
07.01.2022 ROUND 7 FIXTURES Round 7 for the WPL brings us some exciting midweek football and itll be the first return fixture for clubs in the competition. What h...ave each of these found learnt and will the results be different? Lithgow Workmans Soccer FC, Dubbo Football Club Bulls and Macquarie United Football Club all come in with the confidence of taking the points in round 1. Theyll be met by Panorama Football Club, Orana Spurs Football Club and Parkes Cobras sides all hungry to stay in touch with the top half of the table. Whats your predictions for round 7? #wpl2020

07.01.2022 Hi all. It has been confirmed that football suspension has been extended until 31 May 2020. They are still hoping to have a season be played this year. Bathurst Football have 3 scenarios ready to go depending on when they can start the season. Also the club are still required to pay our 1st registration instalment to them. If the season is shortened and discounts are given to registration fees the club of course will pass these discounts into players and also will refund those that have already paid. At this time no-one knows what the future holds but Committee would like to remind everyone to stay safe during this time so you are all fit and healthy to play when the season starts.

03.01.2022 FINAL ROUND FIXTURES After 10 weeks of football we have arrived at our final and 14th round of the regular season. Macquarie United Football Club will ...make the trip to Bathurst where theyll be awarded the Premiers Plate for 2020. A fitting reward for their consistency this season. They travel to face a Panorama Football Club side who have it all to play for. A win or a draw is a must for the goats if they want to play finals. Parkes Cobras round out their season in front of their home fans and sponsors. The Cobras will be determined to finish the season on a winning note after a strong end to the season. Theyll meet Barnstoneworth United Football Club - Orange in a do or die match for them. Nothing but a win will do for Barnies who currently sit in 5th place. Orana Spurs Football Club make the long trip down to Lithgow to finish off their season. Nothing makes a bus trip more enjoyable than taking the points with you and the Spurs will be determined to do exactly that. For Lithgow Workmans Soccer FC its an important fixture. A win takes them through to the finals next week, anything less and theyll need to wait to hear of other results before celebrating. Its all to play for. 2 finals spots, 3 teams, who will progress through to the finals next week. Lets go!!!!
02.01.2022 Just a reminder presentation is tomorrow/Saturday night 5:30pm at the Workmens club. Also we will be holding the AGM on Friday 11th December at 5:30 pm at the Workies.
02.01.2022 Advice from the club for the 2020 season Season start; the club is waiting for a direction from FNSW, Bathurst district and Western. A date is soon approaching. We are anticipating a quick start once a date is set by the government. Training; as soon as the club has a direction we will be training as teams on a Monday Wednesday and Friday at 5:30 pm. At this point we still advise everyone that is keen to play to be keeping up their fitness in preparation for a quick start. ...
