25.01.2022 It's been very quiet on the croquet (or any sport) front of late...I thought I should start keeping people updated again as restrictions ease. Club croquet playing members can again now play at PCYC (must join PCYC for insurance reasons)...Wednesday and Saturday from 10am. Please be on time...as we have no clubhouse to retire to await latecomers. Having said that...play tomorrow - Saturday July 4 will most likely be cancelled...top of 8c predicted (this evening as I write th...is it is 3.8c and falling). However, if the weather forecast turns out to be wrong ...you can ring the magic number after 9am for an update. Our Gateball players are patiently still awaiting permission to play at Club Lithgow...which will hopefully be given Tuesday next week. I know we are all eagerly awaiting spring! New lawn, new life, new warmth! Hang in there...it will be spring before we know it...how are we even in July...ALREADY?

23.01.2022 Nearly there. A few tweaks to the sprinkler system, some top dressing and who knows...we just might be able to have our Gateball competition in September...which would be very interesting...with no play/practice for anyone for months! Stay well all.

20.01.2022 As the old saying goes...all good things come to those who wait...finally our top dressing has been done today (quite a job, 45 tonne of fine sand to be spread)...the grass is powering along with the warmer weather and regular rain (today the perfect day to do the top dressing - weather wise)...not long now until we can be on the lawn playing our little hearts out! Big smiles from Bronwyn and I...'We're so nearly there!'
