10.01.2022 Just a quick update on our gifted gift vouchers. Weve had some beautiful generous souls purchase gift cards through our Etsy store and request they be gifted to someone in need in Cobargo community. So far weve gifted three of these. The first went to a beautiful lady who had lost everything and she used it to purchase a lovely plant!... Another lady from the local area lost her home and even her handbag after she went back to rescue her beloved dog and forgot to take her bag. She bought a gorgeous brown bag and beautiful mosiac mirror, said she had one just like it in her home. The last was to a young man whos dad is a local firefighter and whos family has lost everything. Its an amazing feeling to see people rebuilding and with the help of the generous and kind souls around us. These people were overwhelmed by the generosity and felt supported, which is exactly how we need people to feel now. 10.01.2022 As you all know our little village of Cobargo was severely hit by a fire storm on NYE . Terrifying beyond belief . We escaped and are safe right now. Our beautiful historic town suffered extensive loss as well as all the surrounding area devastated, lives lost which is the greatest tragedy.... This image is the main Street and much of it has been leveled to the ground. Peoples livelihoods gone overnight. My heart is breaking for everyone impacted by this disaster. I dont know what I can do to assist at this time as its still a very volatile situation which is still unfolding. But in the weeks and months ahead we will gather ourselves together and look to rebuilding our shattered community. Until then Little Birdie is closed until we know what will unfold. If there is anything I can do for those affected please PM me and I will do whatever I can to help. I will be returning home with my family over the weekend. Please stay safe
