One of these will be going straight to my 86 yr old dad who has trouble gripping jars in the kitchen Please everyone follow the link to Peta’s page Ebony and Me Like and share it . 18.01.2022 Two beautiful special order tea cosy’s ready to be posted in time for Christmas

18.01.2022 Ok so I went to big town today and yes bought some Christmas fabrics, I love the idea of simple sustainable and reusable gifts. I am the little hamper queen so here are a couple of easy ideas . Today I created beautiful bowl covers using 100% Australia pure bees wax, these make gorgeous individual covers or wraps or little pouches for individual and personal gifts, ideal teachers gifts. Wrap, cover, rinse , scrunch reuse. Also making squares

18.01.2022 sewing and creating takes time, there is over an hours work in each of these items from raw fabrics to completed items. It mightn’t look like I have achieved much today but there is about 6 hours work there. These have been ironed wrapped and popped into their post bags ready to go

17.01.2022 Just sharing a notification from Australia post re postal delays in and out of areas affected by the recent and ongoing weather events. We come under 4370 .

17.01.2022 Omg when you get home to find your studio trashed with Brocken glass , torn blinds and everything topsy Turvey what little vandals did this......a hole in the ceiling.......?????

17.01.2022 Omg feeling frustrated a thread broke on the overlocker this morning hmmm, so re thread but holly hell the instructions are as clear as mud re threaded about 5 times nope.......good old you tube play ,stop ,rewind ,zoom, get ya bloody hand out I can’t see back again. Then finally yay the you tube model was different from mine but between that and the dodgy pics in the user manual we are up and sewing again. GET IT, GOT IT, GO!!!

16.01.2022 It’s frustrating when you place an online order for fabrics then find out that the order has been refunded due to no availability, this has happened a few times recently still wanting to be able to use this print for an order we managed to find a contrasting fabric which will give these upcoming covers a unique and individual country look. Our local drapery is so helpful and an patient with my endless searching for fabric.

16.01.2022 Early morning sitting quietly having my coffee and I can hear buzzing , bees are everywhere in the lawn just gorgeous to watch them quietly going about their early morning business. They are fascinating little creatures that we depend on.

15.01.2022 Well this looks interesting I have never used an overlocker and have been thinking I should get one, this one was very kindly given to me over the weekend, now to see if I can get it going. Definitely feeling a bit daunted at this point in time

15.01.2022 Thankyou for all of this weeks enquires in regard to placing orders. Yes I have been taking a break just to catch my breath, I had created over 300 items up until June a massive 6 months while also juggling my return to a full week at work. In response I will take on a few orders per week , creating personal thoughtful gifts for those enquires re Christmas gifts. Also doing a limited number of the ever popular thermo, toaster, mixer and airfryer covers. Pls pm for all enquires or orders Cheers Fiona
