23.01.2022 Happy Year of the Rat. For the last two weeks the children have been learning about the Chinese New Year Celebrations across our service. Role play, art and musical experiences filled our days engaging the children social and culturally.

13.01.2022 Australia Day was celebrated throughout or service last week, with the children engaging in learning of the country we live in. The beach theme day was a huge hit in the Tiny Tots and Toddlers Rooms. Recreations of the Aussie stories the Wombat Stew and Possum Magic were played out and our senses were put to work. Lamington’s, Vegemite Sandwich’s and Pavlova were dishes that we’re made and enjoyed by the children themselves.

13.01.2022 TODDLERS MESSY PLAY DAY! Today the Toddlers got messy while being social, experimenting, expressing ideas and developing fine motor and sensory skills. The Toddlers have been developing their gross motor and fine motor skills for the past two weeks through physical movement activities.The smiles just show how much fun we had!

02.01.2022 YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE Our children at Little Buckets Butler have been using red and yellow paint to create their interpretation of ‘sunshine’. This is allowing the children to develop their imagination, creativity, fine motor skills and social interactions. The children also enjoyed exploring the sunshine through different colours and shapes using our rainbow blocks!
