13.01.2022 This week at Little Buckets we took part in Holi Day celebrations the Hindu festival of colours. By celebrating different cultures we are supporting diversity and shaping children's learning and development.

13.01.2022 Our kindy children at Little Buckets Ridgewood took part in a very creative art project this week One of our amazing kindy room educators Michelle filled up spray bottles with water and food colouring in the primary colours. The children used paper towel to spray the colours on as paper towel absorbs water well. The comments from the children were in amazement as they watched the paper towel change colours. It was even more exciting when they noticed that as the colours mixed they were able to make green, purple and orange. Using the spray bottles helped foster the children’s fine motor skills as they had to squeeze the trigger. Some of the children found the yellow to be a bit tricky as it was a larger bottle. The finished product looked amazing check out the pictures!

09.01.2022 What an amazing adventure our kindy had visiting our local park on Tuesday. Before we left the centre we all popped on our fluro vests and chose a buddy friend to walk with. As we travelled to and from the park we discussed road safety and the importance of looking out for our friends and listening to our teachers.
