18.01.2022 It's our first birthday today! This time last year our dream of starting a footy program for 3-6 year olds became reality. In just one year we have been very proud to bring the joy of footy to hundreds of kids across South East Queensland. But we couldn't have done it without the support of some pretty special people, including our family, friends, the Little Footy Stars coaches, all of you - the parents, grandparents, spectators, and supporters... and most importantly all th...e Little Stars out there! To each and every one of you - a very big thank you for believing in Little Footy Stars. Thank you for bringing your kids to training. Thank you for your support. Thank you for loving the program as much as we do! So what will our second year of Little Footy Stars hold? It has been a big year for us, and we have decided to make a few changes that we think will help the program reach its full potential. We will be giving footy lovers like ourselves the opportunity to start their very own Little Footy Stars program, and we will concentrate on north Brisbane. We hope this will be an opportunity for others to get as much joy as we do from introducing kids to rugby league, and drive enrollments up in other areas around Australia. 01.01.2022 To all our Little Footy Stars families. It is with much sadness that we want to let everyone know we have made the extremely difficult decision to close the Little Footy Stars program from the end of this term. The last class will be Monday 30 June. For the past 18 months we have worked extremely hard to develop the program, and provide young kids with the opportunity to get involved in rugby league from an early age. We have thoroughly enjoyed this time and the kids who hav...e come through our program have made it all worthwhile. Unfortunately due to personal situations we cannot continue to run the classes. We would like to thank you all sincerely for supporting the Little Footy Stars, especially those of you who have been with us from the start. Special thanks also to our family and our friends for all your support. We hope to see all your kids at junior rugby league games around Brisbane soon. Who knows, maybe one day we might even see a few of their names in an NRL line-up! Thanks for everything. Coach Ben and Kath.
