23.01.2022 The past few weeks we have been overwhelmed with the generosity of our community. Its so heart-warming to see how people are reaching out even in times like this. Weve also benefitted from additional donations of fresh veggies and fruit from Second Bite, and lots of bread from Woolworths. For anyone who needs bread the pantry has just been re-stocked, and I have more to add so please let me know when empty

12.01.2022 Stocking the pantry this afternoon and several people joined us for a chat and thanked us for what we do. One of them was grabbing things for her friends who she said never eat because they cant afford to, but they are too embarrassed to come to the pantry themselves as they are worried that they will be judged. If only all of you could see the need in this community and how gratefully your donations are received. The smallest things that most of us take for granted like toilet rolls, basic tinned foods and other staples mean that someone is able to eat today. Their full stomach = our full hearts #littlefreepantry @lfp_ulverstone
