22.01.2022 Health and Hygiene training starts this Friday, available times are 10am, 11:30am and 4:00pm. Please contact Nicole to book in a time. All educators must have this training each year.

20.01.2022 Play dough recipe Get your hands dirty and bring smiles to your kids' faces with this great art and craft kids activity making play dough. Smash it, mould it and roll it you can create wild and whacky shapes with play dough that you and your kids made yourselves! What you need 1 cup flour 1 cup water... 1/2 cup cooking salt 1 tbs of cooking oil 1 tbs of cream of tartar food colouring Activity Mix the flour, water, salt and cream of tartar in a saucepan over medium heat until thick. Allow the mixture to cool and then add the oil and knead well over a floured cutting board or similar. All children love playdough, playdough can be manipulated in a variety of ways, you can add glitter, rice, various colours, use matchsticks, paddle pop sticks, cutters, rollers. Keep it in an air tight container and should keep for a few weeks See more

17.01.2022 Wanting something to do this weekend, the Jacaranda Festival is on again at the Evan Margison park at Goodna. It is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

16.01.2022 Monday night is Halloween, for the Educators and Children that take part, please remember safety first. Educators must go with the children on any trick or treating walks.

14.01.2022 Playgroup this Monday we are doing events to celebrate the Olympics!! Love to see everyone at 10am

12.01.2022 Sensory experiences are great for children of all ages. Persayus and Leondyus, aged 8 months, really enjoyed the sounds the instruments made, and they were happily using their fine motor skills to manipulate the instruments.

11.01.2022 CPR training:- Remember CPR is a yearly course. Craig from Thinkpoint has courses each week at Inala or Woodridge. This week he is at Inala on thursday. CPR is $55.00. All educators must have a valid CPR certificate.

07.01.2022 Today my activity at Jackies house was decorating Christmas plates with stickers. Look at this awesome plate that Samueli created. This activity was very cost effective. Plates cost $2 from Woolworths, and i purchased a tub of foam stickers from KMART for $5. This activity helps with developing fine motor skills and creativity.

06.01.2022 Wow what a month Little Paradise Family Day Care has had. Thank you to our educators, Children and their families for coming to our September Fun Day. It was great to see so many educators with their children come together for School Holiday Fun.

06.01.2022 Reminder NO JAB NO PAY, If Medicare does not have a current copy of the childrens immunisation record and they deem that the child is not immunised to Australian Standards, CCB will cease immediately. It is really important that all children receiving have their Immunisation record on file here in the office!! Please see Nicole or Fale for more information

06.01.2022 Educators and Families as you are aware, there have been significant changes in regards to Educators/CCB and who can be a Family Day Care Educator. Siblings can no longer be an Educator for their brothers and sisters. Parents can not provide care for their own children. Care cannot be provided where it is mainly for transporting children to and from school. If you have any questions, please come and see Nicole

05.01.2022 Yesterdays activity at Avas house was decorating the Santa Sleigh template. Nicole purchased the templates from Crazy Clarks at Goodna $2 for 8. We used textas to decorate and stickers. options are endless you could collage these or paint them.

03.01.2022 This month we are focusing on our Outside environments ensuring that we have sufficient resources for all ages. Also ensuring that the outside environments are safe with all BBQs covered, gas bottles away from children. No trampolines without a safe securing net. If you would like suggestions how to improve the outside area please let us know

03.01.2022 Only 2 educators attended this fortnights playgroup. A big thankyou to Victoria and her sister for bringing the twins Leondyus and Persyaus to playgroup. They certainly enjoyed the musical instruments. I think Leondyus will be a drummer in the near future!! Next playgroup is Monday the 11th of July 2016. We really need all educators with small children to attend our fortnightly playgroup!

03.01.2022 A huge thank you to all the educators who have been attending our protective behaviours workshops. I hope that you have all learnt something from this training. It has been great to see you all doing your hand activity with the children. In July we will be doing our Health and hygiene training. More information soon

03.01.2022 Playgroup;- We are going back to Gailes Community house for Playgroup on Monday the 25th of July. We will be doing activities from the book Rainbow fish. We will start at 10am. Look forward to seeing you all there!!

Co-ordinator must have Diploma in Child Care and Education or equivalent and a minimum of 1 years Family Day Care experience.
