07.01.2022 It takes a long time to become a paediatrician. After passing medical school, trainee paediatricians go through many years of extra training. Along the way the...y need prove their skills. Just like a pilot needs to prove how expertly they can fly a plane, a trainee needs to show examiners how expertly they provide medical care for children and families. And just like a pilot gets to train in a simulator for complex situations, our trainee paediatricians need practise doing consultations before their exam.
