24.01.2022 Do you still miss travelling Ciao Last week Little passports travel to Italy ... We had a special guest Stefanos dad. Marcello is from Rome in a town called Sora, in central Italy. He read some a story of Wombat stew translated in Italian and he taught the kindy children to make real Italian pizza using fresh herbs of basil and special cheese. It was so deliciously made with love that we wanted more. We also had pasta marinara made by our cooks, painted the Italian flags and we learn so much about Italy. Mama Mia ! Next stop Brazil with our educator Manu

23.01.2022 Little Passports travel to China Still miss travelling ? We do .. So last week we visited China with educator Shulin. She taught us how to make dumplings and bubble tea . Everyone loves bubble tea dont they ... What a great first hand experience for us to be able to learn and understand a bit about the Chinese cultures through food. 11.01.2022 Fire evacuation management Week This week is fire drill week as we start with our favourite dance teacher in our centre Miss Joanne. She detected a fire in our the laundry area this morning as she came in and alerted everyone on it with a blow whistle. ... We evacuated in a calm and orderly manner following Miss Joanne and the staff instructions. To make sure that everyone will be involved in our drill practise we be doing it again on this Wednesday with a staff member. 10.01.2022 Its a sad day today as we say goodbye to our cook Rosie. Rosie is retiring after working for LPP for more than 14 years!!! Its been a very emotional day; However, Rosie we wish you all the best in everything that you do and thank you for all the years of good food that you have served the children and staff. 07.01.2022 As part of our centre cultural appreciation of events throughout the year, we had the opportunity to learn more about Diwali with Shayan’s mum Sarah , educator Mohawna and educator Pratik. Diwali, also known as Deepavali, is an Indian festival of lights that is widely celebrated. It is a festival that signifies "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance." This year Diwali falls on Saturday, 14th November 2020. We learn about the Hindu cultu...re with creating Rangoli. Henna painting , tasting Indians sweets like gulab jamun, and having butter chicken for lunch. We fall silent ourselves to remember those soldiers who did not come home from war. Singapore is an island city state and is rich in cultural diversity and ethic cuisine. It comprises of four main languages of English , Chinese, Malay and Tamil ... Coming from Singapore herself Zee took them in the best way to experience the countrys story through food. Obviously in Singapore the favourite pastime is eating What a best way to satisfy our cravings through local food of chicken rice and paratha. Where we going to next ?? Its Italy So pack your bag to the land of pasta and pizza
