So I did it. I had my first mammogram. They are now saying women over 40 should be checked. Being just a few years over that I thought right let’s just do it AND it was so easy. ... I made my appointment and off I went. I was nervous but guess what it took 5 minutes and it was slightly uncomfortable but didn’t hurt at all. Much less invasive than the other girlie stuff we have to do. Yep, I have to wait for the results but hey at least the dice is rolled and I am proud of myself for doing it.
